WRITER’S POV
The security guard hurried in alongside Beatrice, both ready to help get Emeka to the hospital.
They stepped inside, and without hesitation, the guard rushed over to Emeka, carefully lifting him from the ground.
The security guard lifted Emeka gently, his body limp and unresponsive. Beatrice watched with trembling hands as they carefully placed him onto the couch.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she fumbled with her phone, trying to reach pastor again, tho he had assured her he was on his way already.
“We need to move quickly,” the guard said, his voice steady but urgent.
Beatrice nodded, her eyes wide with fear, she cabt afford to lose her only son. She hurriedly grabbed Eneka’s car keys and signaled the guard to help carry Emeka outside.
Together, they guided him into the backseat of the car, laying him down as best they could.
As Beatrice slid into the driver’s seat, her hands gripped the steering wheel tightly.
Her mind raced with worry, but she tried to stay calm.
She pressed her foot on the accelerator, speeding off toward the hospital.
The silence in the car was deafening, broken only by Emeka’s shallow breathing. Beatrice kept glancing in the rearview mirror, praying that he would wake up before they got there.
Just then, Beatrice’s phone rang. It was Madam Cassandra calling.
She pulled over to a safe corner and slid her finger across the screen to answer.
“Hello?” Beatrice said, her voice shaky.
“Take Emmy back home,” Madam Cassandra’s calm yet firm voice came through. “I’m bringing a very good doctor to attend to him at home. And don’t call any pastor.”
Beatrice hesitated for a moment, confused by the instructions, but responded, “Alright.”
After the call ended, she made a U-turn and headed back home, her mind racing.
Why would Cassandra ask her not to bring a pastor? It seemed suspicious, but Beatrice knew better than to question Cassandra. After all, she had done so much for her and her son.
But then, “How did Cassandra finds out that she’s taking Emeka to the hospital? ” She thought deeply.
Maybe who knows, Jude the security man might have called her. ” She thought driving into the streets.
Meanwhile:
Emeka found himself once again in that same eerie forest, standing before the faceless woman. He was barefoot, with only a red cloth tied around his waist.
This time, the faceless woman held his hand, leading him deeper into the forest.
“Speak, Emeka. Don’t be silent, she has no authority over you,” a voice echoed in his mind.
Emeka, who had been following the faceless woman obediently, suddenly stopped. He yanked his hand away from hers.
“Who are you, and where are you taking me?” Emeka demanded.
“I am your wife. I blessed you with big gbola ,” the faceless woman replied, her voice calm but unsettling.
“You didn’t give me anything,” Emeka snapped.
“And last time I checked, I’m not married. Even if I were, I wouldn’t be married to a deity like you. As for my big gbola, it is giving to me by the Lord, not from you.”
The faceless woman paused for a moment, her head tilting slightly as if she were studying him.
“You think your Lord gave you the gbola right?
You belong to me, Emeka. Your strength, your success, your very breath, it’s all because of me,” she said, her voice growing colder. “Deny it all you want, but you can’t escape your fate.”
Emeka took a step back, his mind racing….
Emeka stood firm, his heart p******g, but he refused to let fear control him.
“I don’t belong to you,” he said, his voice steady. “Whatever power you think you have over me, it’s broken.”
The faceless woman let out a low, menacing laugh. “You’re mistaken, Emeka. You may resist, but the bond between us is deeper than you understand. You’ve already accepted me once whether you remember or not.”
Emeka shook his head, defiant. “No. I reject you. Whatever bond you think we have, it’s over.”
The woman raised her hand, and the air around them seemed to grow heavier. The trees bent under an invisible force, the forest darkening even more.
“You can’t reject what you’ve already accepted,” she hissed, stepping closer. “Remember your promise, Emeka. You can’t escape it.”
But just as she reached for him again, that same voice from before echoed in his mind.
“Call on the name above all names, Emeka. Break free.”
Emeka’s eyes widened as the words resonated deep within him. Summoning every ounce of strength, he shouted, “In the name of Jesus, I command you to leave me!”
Holy Ghost kobo! I call on you whip her for me.
Holy Ghost 🔥 fire I call on you!! Fire her for me.
