At the hospital
Deborah panic around the hospital veranda making several calls to get across to his brother. Her younger sister has suddenly run ma.d and almost everyone in the hospital Arena have gathered around them to help with the situation.
âIs he not picking?â The Samaritan man ask.
âHis line is even switched off now. I canât reach him.â She complained unhappily. âOthanel where are you na.
âWhat could have caused this innocent girl ma.dness. ha, God ooo come to her aid.
âI even heard that their mother surgery just finished successfully. How will she feels if she hears this now.
âMy dear sister I donât know ooo the only thing they could do is just to keep it secret from her. Because ha, if she knows about this it might complicate things for her.

They carried Deborah sister into the another ward to calm her down but all their effort was abortive. Deborah cried along as they were helping out. And she became worried the more when she couldnât reach her brother. Few minutes later an unknown number called her and it turns out to be their father. He asked the name of the hospital they are but Deborah shouted at him on call that he should get out from her phone. The good Samaritan man later came outside and ask her about the outcome of her brother whereabouts again and she said she hasnât reached him. The man sighed down.
âYour sister case canât be treated here. She needs to be taking to psychiatric hospital. Donât worry, I will foot the bill.
âpsycha whaat! Yeh! Jesus Christ! Nooooo Nooo please Nooo donât take my sister to psychiatric hospital. There was nothing wrong with her. I think it is my father handwork. Maybe he has has done something to her. Please donât take my sister away from me â She cries.

After many support from some people they released Deborah sister to be carried to church. The day is getting hotter but still they all matched out of the hospital premises to follow Deborah. Just a little walk along the hospital they saw a church building and ran into it.
Well, fortunately they were able to meet the pastor who immediately after hearing what happened gathered the prayer warrior squad to pray for her alongside those that came. The prayer session began intensity with scriptures and switching in tongues. Deborah crying to God for his mercy on her sister not knowing she has her own predicament. 40 minutes into the unstoppable prayer, although some that followed them from the hospital has left because of one thing or the other. Suddenly, Deborah screamed loudly holding her head as she spinnned around under the anointing of the holy spirit. She fell down and vomited a lot of irritating substance which weakens her. The pastor laid is hand on her and she falls facing the floor.
âJesus! Set them free! Set them free by your anointing and power.
Anita sneezed out three times and regain her sanity. She look around her and quickly covered her ear because of the multiple noises. She sprang up and ran to her sister who is lying on the floor and called her name repeatedly. Seeing what just happened, everyone screamed for joy praising the name of God. Not quite long, Deborah opened her eyes and get up immediately she heard her name. Both sisters hug each other happily caressing their face joyfully.
âWhat happened?â Anita ask confusingly while looking at everybody.
The next day in the morning while in the hospital. The Samaritan man called Deborah aside to see someone. Immediately she saw her father she became angry and wanted to go back inside but the Samaritan man held her back.
Deborah my daughter. I am very sorry please forgive me â Her father said on his knees.
âI donât know you, and we donât know you.â She answered looking sideway.
âI was shocked when I heard about your brothers de.ath. thatâŠâ
âWhat?â The anger in her arouse the more as she yelled at him. âIt is you that will rather di.e! My brother will not di.e in Jesus name. Wiccked father!

She looked so confused and shocked as she stares at the Samaritan man. âyou must be joking sir. It is a joke right?
The Samaritan man hugged her and patted her back to make her understand that itâs true. She broke bursted into cry wrapping her hands around the man. She was told he got smashed by unknown car and she cried out the more bitterly calling her brother name silently.
One month after the incident of what happened, there father returned even though it took a lot of pleading from people around before their mother accepted him back. He accepted his fault and apologize to his children but Deborah couldnât accept his apology to heart because she knew he added more to what caused the de.ath of her brother. The Samaritan man also was also filled with guilty conscience because of what he had done to Othanel at his work. He didnât tell anyone about it but he took up the responsibility of helping his family and making things in accordance for them in other not to feel the absence of their beloved son and brother.
Things moved on happily, and the fact that the cursed upon Othanel’s family was broken unknowingly to them because of the prayers upon them. They lived happily ever after without knowing the real fact behind the de.ath of Othanel.
