{Continuation…}
As the lovebirds cuddled in the same position, Lorenzo gently brushed her hair down with his index finger as he admitted.
Lorenzo: About what you said earlier, I heard. My mind was just taken by other thoughts. I would have reacted similarly if our roles were reversed as well. What woman would love her man if he claimed another man’s life and be comfortable with it? The thought of someone being removed from the picture, especially by their loved ones, is never something anyone wants to hear. Itβs distressing, discouraging, and vexing; it leaves behind pain and bitterness. My dear, you have every right to be mad. It’s rather shocking that you’re at ease cuddling up with a man who took the lives of four men.
Finishing his statement, Bao raised her face and looked at him, leaning her chin against his chest, speaking calmly as she toyed with his chest with her index finger.
Bao: What do you expect? Fight you? Curse you? Break up with you? Not if you’re a killer. But I guess, this is your lucky day.
The moment she said that, she rested her head on his chest, placing her palms on his shoulder. Surprised by her last statement, Lorenzo couldn’t help but snort, embracing her even more.
Lorenzo: Atta girl! Then I guess I’ll have to be careful next time. Still wondering about something? This might be the time you need to ask
.Bao: I’ve been wondering ever since I stepped into the house. Even after picking up the flower vase on the wooden table, something felt off. This place looks cleanβtoo clean. You know that gut feeling you get, like something happened here? Itβs the same kind of feeling I get when a place looks like no oneβs been living in it. But somehow, this place doesnβt look like that. So how is it spotless? I remember you told me on our way here that you only come here once a monthβmaybe just to scout if you have business around the area. But even if a house is left alone for just a week, dust and cobwebs usually start to settle. And from the look of things here, thereβs no dust, not even a single cobweb. How is that even possible? Maybe you forgot to tell me something along the way.
.Lorenzo: If you ask me, you’re rightβI forgot to mention it. I hired someone to help with the house. An older woman, named Mrs Belleck, a black woman who lives just a few meters from here. She comes every weekend to clean the house and take care of the flowers and bushes around while I’m awayβsometimes even for months when I donβt bother stopping by… Sheβs a good woman.
.Bao: (softly) I got you… Just a little curious, any ballpark on her age?
.Lorenzo: Not exactly sure. Iβd guess sheβs over 60, maybe not quite 80. (sighs) Considering her age, I wouldnβt have hired her in the first placeβbut the old lady. Said she was doing it to survive, for her and her grandchild. I pay her, of course, but even soβ¦ One of these days, I hope to repay her properlyβfor everything sheβs doing.
.Bao: That’s actually so… thoughtful. It’s no easy job. Poor woman, she deserves better.
She said solemnly, as memories stirredβof how both her parents once worked in a rich manβs house just to survive. She was much younger then, but she never forgot the humiliation and embarrassment they endured just so she could be fed, educated, and cared for. They had hoped things would one day get better, but somehow, life only got worseβespecially after she lost them. The pain still lingered, playing in her mind. But the memories faded when Lorenzoβs voice suddenly cut through. She quickly rubbed her eyes in secret, careful not to let him notice. She knew how he would react. She didnβt want to burden him with her emotions, so instead, she looked up and gave him a wry smile with her chin against his chest. Besides, the deeds are done, and she wouldn’t want that to hold her back from moving forward with her lifeβas long as there’s still breath in her.
Lorenzo: There’s more I want to say…
.Bao: What?
In that moment, they both heard the sound of a car engine dying, which made Lorenzo prick up his ears and sit up slightly. He responded quickly, glancing at her face as he did.
Lorenzo: There’s one way to find out.
As soon as he said that, they both separated and got up from the chair a little hurriedly. Lorenzo instantly pulled out his Glock 17 gun from behind his back. He fixed his eyes on Bao, who watched silently but was unsettled within, as he racked the slide smoothly. Then, he said sharply and cupped her cheek with his palm, looking into her eyes.
Lorenzo: Stay close!
Bao nodded, swallowed hard, and followed slowly behind him as he moved toward the window. On reaching it, he gently took her right hand while she clung to him, his other hand bracing tightly against the wall. At that moment, the sound of car doors slamming outside alerted them, but it didnβt stop their cautious approach. As soon as they reached the window, Lorenzo carefully moved her behind him, pressing her back gently against the wall. He then pulled the curtain aside and peered through the window, letting out a quiet sigh of relief.
Lorenzo: Great, they’re here!
.Bao: “They?” Sounds to me like you were expecting more than just the passport agent. Who’s here?
Bao asked out of curiosity, but calmly, her gaze fixed on him, needing clarification. Still peering through the window attentively, Lorenzo turned to her and answered with a calm seriousness.
Lorenzo: Theyβre trusted professionals. I arranged for them to watch over you while Iβm goneβuntil your passport is ready in 48 hours and everything else is taken care of, so you can leave the country safely.
After he finished speaking, Bao stepped away from her spot and also peered through the window for a quick confirmationβnot because she didnβt believe him, but because she was amazed heβd go to such lengths just for her, as Lorenzo watched her silently. After a moment, she turned back to him, concern etched in her eyes, and spoke with quiet intensity, describing what she saw.
Bao: They’re females!
.Lorenzo: Rightβtrusted and professional agents. It might sound funny, but Iβm being serious. My mind wouldnβt be at peace leaving you under the watch of random men while Iβm away, especially with the danger surrounding us. Anything could happen, even if they werenβt staying in the house with you. People hate the Red Wolves nowβdeeplyβfor all the chaos, destruction, and lives weβve affected. And some of them might be willing to do anything to get back at us. I canβt take that risk. These agents are the only ones I truly trust to do the job. Theyβre the best fit, and I know they wonβt fail under any circumstance.
.Bao: Do you really have to go that length?
She asked, now facing each other and looking into each other’s eyes. Lorenzo gently cupped her neck while slipping his Glock 27 behind his back, saying.
Lorenzo: Like I said, I’d go to any lengths to keep you safeβand I wasnβt just talking. Iβd do anything in this world for the woman who brings me joy. Thatβs the only thing that matters right now, soβokay?
Still taken by what he did, Bao found herself in a state within herself of right words she could use, even considering what he just poured out to her. She wondered maybe she should cry or just hug, but all she could do was to hung face a little and nod, choked up, unable to utter a word, looking back at his face. But his next moves gives her a little courage to embrace brimmed with emotion, as he pull her closer from the neck and laid a soft kiss on her forehead and embraces her more to himself, saying with whispery voice confidently.
Lorenzo: For your safety, I’d do anything… Anything!
In that moment, they heard footsteps outside on the veranda, followed by a knock at the door. They quickly released each other, and Lorenzo walked over to unlock it, while Bao stood in place, watching him. When he opened the door, two women stood before themβone tall, the other medium heightβboth athletic in build. One was white, the other dark They were dressed in black fleece zip-up sweaters, leather skintight trousers, bulletproof vests, and gloves, with shoulder and waist holsters. One of them, the dark-skinned woman, held a rifle. As soon as Lorenzo unlocked and opened the door, the white woman greeted him in a flirtatious voice, ‘Hey, Lorenzo,’ as they walked in with confident strides, their hair neatly tied back in ponytails, scanning the room as they entered.
Lorenzo: Hey! Where are the rest of you?
Lorenzo asked, closing the door and turning around. Alessia stood with one leg forward, as if posing, and answered in both Italian and English, while her partner stood beside her, gripping the gun tightly and glancing at Bao, who watched them silently.
Alessia: Fuori! (Outside!) Standing on guard outside, having a little chat.
.Lorenzo: Well, Bad timingβAlessia!
Lorenzo said, his voice firm and commanding
Alessia: (glance at Jack) Ha! You caught that, Jack?
.Jack: Loud and clear.
.Alessia: (chuckles) Bad timing, huh? Just when I thought our timing was right. I guess I was too quick to believe that β Iβll take my time next time.
.Lorenzo: (snorts) I fear you might never get the chance again.
.Alessia: Doesnβt sound like much trouble to me. Comunque, Γ¨ passato un poβ di tempo. Nel momento in cui ho ricevuto il tuo messaggio vocale per prepararmi e ho visto la posizione, ho capito che non ci stavamo incontrando solo per i vecchi tempi. Allora, qual Γ¨ lβoperazione? E chi Γ¨ questa bomba? (Still, itβs been a while. The moment I got your voice message to gear up and saw the location, I figured we werenβt meeting just for old timesβ sake. So, whatβs the op? And whoβs this hot cake?
.Lorenzo: She’s my fiancΓ©e! Γ lei il motivo per cui siete qui (She’s the reasons y’all are here)
Answering her, Lorenzo left his spot and walked over to Bao, who barely understood the conversationβespecially between Alessia and Lorenzo, let alone Alessiaβs partner, who had been stealing glances at her with a stern expression. Her towering height only added to Baoβs discomfort, making her feel like she was being kept in the dark about what was being said. Still, Alessiaβs partner remained silent. But when Bao heard Lorenzo say, βSheβs my fiancΓ©e!β and saw him approach, it brought her a sense of securityβespecially when he took her hand firmly and continued speaking in the same language with Alessia she couldnβt understand. But she was certain that whatever they were talking about had to do with her.
Γ chiaro? (I want her under your watch and protection 24/7 while Iβm gone. You already know what to do, but Iβm going to make this clearβand Iβll only say it once. Nothing must happen to her. Sheβs a special person in my life, and I donβt want you, your partners, or any of your girls whatever leaving her side or this house. She must be safe and unharmed when I returnβnot even a scratch. If anything happens to her, itβll be the last thing you and your crew ever do. Are we clear?)
Lorenzo asked in a voice of authority and caution, giving Alessia a stern look. Unfazed by his threat, she curved a slight smile at the corner of her lips and confidently answered back in Italianβthen finished in English, still standing her ground
Alessia: Chiaro e tondoβnon ci avresti chiamato se non ti fidassi di noi. Γ il lavoro piΓΉ leggero che abbiamo mai fattoβniente a che vedere con quello che abbiamo giΓ portato a termine. Γ al sicuro con noi, purchΓ© siamo coperti (Loud and clearβyou wouldnβt have called us if you didnβt trust us. This is the lightest job weβve ever hadβnothing like what weβve pulled off before, as far as Iβm concerned. Sheβs safe with us, as long as weβre covered). Now, tell me, Tiger, whatβs the name of your special woman?
Alessia, hoping he’d say his woman’s name, asked. Lorenzo ignored the question and answered differently, but Bao interjected, knowing he wouldn’t reveal the name. Lorenzo felt a little off at first but was taken aback by her answer.
Lorenzo: You’re covered!
.Bao: Uh, I’m Eva. Nice to meet you.
.Alessia: (snorts) Hmm, Eva? You donβt quite seem like an Eva.
Alessia said skeptically, eyeing Bao intently as she reached out for a handshakeβbut Lorenzo quickly interjected.
Lorenzo: She already told you her name. What more do you need to hear? Now, get the hell out. We need some privacy.
.Alessia: (smile slyly) Oops, didn’t mean to say that, tiger. Just curious. Nice meeting with you, Eva! Come on, J!
After saying that, Alessia gave them a short stare before energetically heading out of the house with her partner, leaving the two alone. As soon as they were out, Lorenzo shifted his gaze to Bao, who had placed her head on his shoulder and holding his hand with her other one. Playfully, Lorenzo said.
Lorenzo: Hm, Eva! Gotta say, that’s pretty impressive!
.Bao: (chuckles) I figured you’d have something to say about that. I must admit, the lady’s sharpβcaught me and even knew I was lying about my name.
.Lorenzo: No. Sometimes people try to manipulate you, test you or break into your mindβbut that only works if your mental guard is down. If you’re not strong enough to shut that door, you’ll fall for it easily. It’s analytical reasoning. Why do you think she’s an agentβand not just any agent? Besides, you didnβt let your guard down, did you?
.Bao: Maybe I wouldβve, if you didnβt cut in.
.Lorenzo: Learn from that. Anyways, you good?
.Bao: Good, but I’m much better staying by your side right now.
As she said that, she yawned softly. Lorenzo then slipped his hand behind his neck, causing her to let go of his. He unclasped a minimalist silver cross necklace and held it up in front of her, looking at her as he spoke affectionately, but with calm seriousness.
Lorenzo: You see, Iβve worn this necklace for a while, and it means a lot to me. It might not be the most beautiful or desirable necklace in the world, but I want you to have it nowβso a part of me is always with you.
Saying that, Bao first glanced at the necklace, then met his eyes as his lips moved. When he finished speaking, she cupped his right cheek, ending her words with a smile and a glance at the necklace.
Bao: Who cares if it’s the most beautiful necklace? I love you, and that’s all that matters. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the most beautiful and desirable necklace I’ve ever seen. You’re not going to stand there and stare at me like that, are you?
Almost turning around, Lorenzo quickly moved and lowered his head, planting a long kiss on her lips, still holding the necklace in his hands. She arched toward him, her palms resting on his shoulders, having expected the kissβoverwhelmed by what she had just said. Their ragged breaths deepened the moment. When Lorenzo finally pulled back a little, their foreheads rested together as they exhaled softly, eyes closed. She placed her forearms on his shoulders and wrapped her arms around his head, affectionately toying with his hair. Then, he gives her a half-joking warning, and she responds playfully.
Lorenzo: Careful with words like thatβ¦ Youβre going to make me fall even harder.
.Bao: Then youβd better be careful tooβtrying to sweep me off my feet like that.
Lorenzo snorts, moves up his lips at her forehead and plant a kiss there, then he instructed her warmly, pulling his face away, which she didn’t hesitate to do smilingly.
Lorenzo: Now, turn around for me!
As she did that, she gathered her long, dark, silky hair from behind and brought it over her shoulder. Lorenzo slipped the necklace around her neck and clasped it carefully, his eyes fixed on her smooth, tanned skin. After securing it, he gently stroked her back and brought her hair back behind her, running his fingers through it like a hairdresser.
Bao, meanwhile, took hold of the cross pendant and gave it a soft kiss before tucking it into her short-sleeved blouse. She paused when she heard Lorenzo whisper in her ear, raising his phone with his left hand to take a photo, his right arm wrapped around her shoulders. Bao smiled at the camera, tilting her head slightlyβthen he took a photo of themselves, when they heard a sound of a car engine cutting off echoed outside, making Lorenzo slowly detach from her and placed. He placed his phone into his
Lorenzo: Hey, look up hereβat the phone. Cheese!
.Bao: (snorts) That must be the passport agent…
.Lorenzo: I certainly hope so!
He thought, walking to the window and peering through it, only to see the passport agent stepping out of her car, just as he had thought. He looked at Bao and proclaimed.
Lorenzo: She showed up, finally!
Bao pat her lips and slowly sat. Then he noticed two of Alessia’s crew stopped the passport agent immediately she got out of the car. As he was about to speak, he heard a knock at the door and Jack peeked her head through the door to announce
Jack: Seems you’ve got a guest. A redhead just showed upβsays she’s here to meet you.
.Lorenzo: I know. Let her in.
He gave the order with a sigh, then walked over to sit beside Bao, slipping his arm around her shoulder. Alessia nodded in affirmation and locked the door. Bao rested her head gently on his shoulder. Moments later, a knock sounded at the door, and the passport agent stepped in. She wore a dark bluish double-breasted coat over a brown turtleneck, paired with dark trousers and heels. A message handbag hung from her arm, and her smooth, silky red hair flowed down her back. Her sharp look and poised stature suggested she was in her mid-thirties.
As she entered, she gently closed the door behind her, and Lorenzo greeted her with a bossy act.
Lorenzo: Glad you finally showed up, Ms ying.
.Maggie: Thank you! So sorry for the delay and inconvenience, Mr Conti. My car broke down while I was on my way here. I had to take it to my mechanic’s shop and ended up leaving it there. They gave me another car to come here because fixing it was taking longer than I expectedβnot to mention the traffic jams I ran into. It was one hell of a ride. But I’m really glad to finally be here. Nice security youβve got here, by the way.
Ying explained politely, standing and facing the couple with the table between them, holding her message handbag.
Lorenzo: Yeah, take a seat!
Lorenzo said, nodding toward the chair, but Ying declined with a gentle shake of her head, smiling faintly as she unzipped her bag
Ying: Nah, I’m fine. I won’t be staying here for too long. Hey, Ms Bao!
.Bao: (softly) Hi, Ms ying!
.Lorenzo: You sent me a voice message claiming you’ve got something important for meβsomething thatβs better discussed face-to-face. So tell me, whatβs so urgent that you couldnβt share it over the phone? Iβll take it as a free pass, considering this isnβt the first time weβve worked together, and I trust you. But make no mistakeβI donβt share my location or private residence with just anyone, and I only do so for valid reasons. Understood?
.Ying: (smiled sheepishly) Yeah, Mr. Conti, and Iβm really sorry if I made this seem inconvenient or uncomfortable for you. That aside, I was already planning to visit some family nearby and took the chance to stop by. When you sent me your location, I was surprisedβit turned out we were pretty close after all. Now, hereβs the good news: the passport replacement process for your girlfriend, Ms. Bao, didnβt just happen fast because of luck. It was my effort and the work I put into it that got it done so quickly. Normally, it takes about 48 to 72 hours before everything drops, but with everything Bao submitted and the push I made with the Chinese embassy, we got her new passport in less than 24 hours. Trust me, Iβve been in this business for five years, and Iβve never seen anything like this. Iβm still in shock myself. But I’m glad I could make it happen for you. Besides, with what had happened, another delay would leave the door open for more danger.
Finishing her statement confidently, Lorenzo and Bao sat upright, identical looks of surprise on their faces. Still close to each other, they could hardly believe what they had just heard from the passport agent, Ying, who then pulled a manila envelope from the messenger handbag she carried and politely handed it to Bao.
Ying: Here you go. Congratulations, sister!
.Bao: Oh, thank you!
Bao answered softly, her face showing gratitude as she collected the manila envelope. She didnβt hesitate to confirm it with Lorenzo, who slipped his arm back around her shoulder, offering a warm smile as he watched her open it. Watching them both affectionately, Ying smiled and cleared her throat and reminded again.
Ying: Ahem, careful with that… The documents you submitted at the embassy are also inside the envelope.
.Bao: δ½ δΉεε·²η»θ―΄θΏδΊοΌδ½θΏζ―ιεΈΈζθ°’δ½ γ(Youβve already said it before, but thank you so much)
.Ying: δΈη¨θ°’ε¦οΌε§ε¦Ήγ(No need to thank me, sis)
.Lorenzo: (looks at Ying) Alright, Ms. Yingβ¦ what can I say? This is unreal. Sure, this ainβt our first time doing businessβbut this right here? It hits different. Honestly, I figured if Bao’s passport dropped in anything under 48 hours, Iβd be impressed. But less than 24? Thatβs damn near impossible. Stillβ¦ you pulled it off. You proved me right to trust you. Iβve got no regrets working with you. Just one thing left to sayβthank you.
.Ying: You’re welcome, Mr. Conti. It was a pleasure working with you again, and I truly appreciate your trust. I should get going now.
.Lorenzo: Sure, but one last thingβlet what happened today remain between us, if you truly value yourself and your family. No one must hear of it. Let this be like it never existed. Understood?
.Ying: Understood, Mr. Conti. As for thatβI’m very good at keeping secrets. Good luck to you both.
Ying boldly answered. Lorenzo nodded in agreement as she turned and walked out of the house, his eyes following her with quiet observation. As soon as she was gone, Lorenzo shifted his attention to Bao, whose eyes were feasting on her new passport. He gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and smiled softly as she giggled, still captivated by the document.
Bao: I just can’t believe it! I canβt believe Iβm actually holding a new passport in my hands. I remember how long it took me to get the old oneβit took me a couple of months. But here I am, with a fresh new passport, applied for and acquired on the same day. I can confidently say this: no one is more surprised and excited than I am right now.
Lorenzo: I told you it was going to work, didn’t I?
Asked with a question, Bao turned her attention to him and gazed into his eyes. Their faces were close, and they both maintained eye contact. Then Bao answered.
Bao: Rightβall thanks to you!

“DESPERATE MEASURE”
Omni-pov
As the day went on, the sun was absent from the sky, though there was still a faint brightness. A blue Challenger sped through a rural area dotted with a few farmhouses and cottages, kicking up dust in its wake. The car had been on the road for hours, racing nonstop.
Eventually, it turned and came to a halt in front of an old white farmhouse, surrounded by neatly kept bushes. As the car came to a stop, the front door opened and Lorenzo and Bao stepped out. Bao stretched and looked around, rubbing her arms against the light chill in the air. Meanwhile, Lorenzo walked to the trunk and retrieved the beautiful luggage he had bought for her on their way with some other things. Bao was dressed in a brand new blue short-sleeved blouse and dark jeans, while Lorenzo wore a large sweater over baggy, distressed jeans. He closed the trunk gently, glancing at Bao as she continued scanning the area, still rubbing her forearms.
Noticing her reaction, part of him sensed she was nervousβwhile another part believed she wasnβt. But as far as he was concerned, her safety here mattered more than anything else. He needed to be sure she was truly okay. Although he felt some relief bringing her to this place, he still wanted to know how she felt, even if this was their only option for now. Her well-being came first. Quietly, he walked over and embraced her warmly from behind, leaving the luggage beside them. As he held her close, feeling her body against his, Bao placed her hands on his wrist and let out a quiet sigh of relief.
Lorenzo: Is there anything you’d like to share with me?
.Bao: This is it. I mean, the house.
.Lorenzo: Yes, that’s the one. That being said, I’m concerned the house might not be your taste, but it’s the safest option for you right now, till we get you out of the country
.Bao: (chuckles) What do you know about my taste, man with a good vision? It’s not as if I complained or something, did I? (sigh softly) I’m just fascinated by the surroundings of the rural area. It’s quiet and peaceful… I like places that are quiet and peaceful, you know? You should know that by now, dear.
.Lorenzo: Fair point, I should know your taste by now… I supposed I was wrong then..
.Bao: No! (Singsong) Because I also like something extravagant and beautiful.
Bao stepped away from Lorenzo and walked over to a rose bush a short distance from him, carefully cutting a flower. Lorenzo said nothing, simply watching her as she gently played with the petals using her fingers. A smile formed on his face as he watchedβhe couldnβt help but recall the days when they were kids. She used to play with flowers all the time, especially roses. He remembered how she would cut a few, place them in a vase, and care for them every day, watching them grow. She always loved them deeply.
Watching her explore the plants, he knew it would take her a while before she moved on from the rose flowers. So, he seized the moment and carried the luggage into the house. Shortly after, he came out of the farmhouse and sat on the three steps of the veranda, continuing to watch her as she explored the plants around the house, a warm smile spread across her face. Seeing that beaming look on her pretty face brought him a sense of comfort that washed over himβlike he could disappear into her presence and shower her face with kisses.
In that moment, his phone beeped in his pocket, prompting him to pull it out. As he checked the screen, his slight smile faded, replaced by a stunned look when he saw who was calling. He stole a glance at Bao, who was still focused on the plants, then quietly stepped onto the veranda before answering the call. His stunned expression soon shifted to a furrowed one.
Caller: Howdy, Lobos!
.Lorenzo: Hey! You’ve something to say, Chief?
.Caller: (sighs) Ah, Good energy! Something like that inspires me a lot. (grave voice) I hope your family are preparing for your funeral. Lobos, do you think me a fool?
.Lorenzo: That Gordo spotted me with your debtor’s daughter, isn’t it? (scoffs) That bitch must have croaked by now.
.Caller: As you will. Splendid! I admire your spirit; you never cease to amaze me. Looks like someone knows the rules of the game better, but seems Gordo didn’t know he was seen before his fate was sealed.
.Lorenzo: Look, I presume you’ve got a better reasons for calling. Spit it out!
.Caller: You’ve got some guts, Lobos. You’re as good as dead. Even interfering in my own matter when you’re supposed to be worrying about your tragic end. How dare you keep Bao away from me? Knowing her father is a debtor who’s failed to pay back his debt. And you think I’d be staying by her father’s fake promises, which he’s been finding challenging to pay, when she can fund me? Come on, Lobos. You know the rules of this game. Rules are always rules. Oops, I almost forgot. You might be wondering how I got her name β Bao. A good name. But you’re a smart one, I believe you know better by now. From what I’ve heard, your love journey with her is incredibly captivating, all thanks to the dead Gordo, a good storyteller. (scoffs) You think sprinting with her or hiding her from me would stop me from getting her? You think I’m going to allow her to go scot-free without paying her father’s debt? Don’t be too cocky! Your life might have been spared if you had brought her, but you decided to keep her hidden, you snitch. You just added another consequence to the first you are meant to receive today. Do you really think she’s safe just because she’s with you? Hahaha, you know what this organization is made of, my friend. She can only hide, but not run forever. But I’ll give you one chance because I feel you can do better for this organization. Her life for your life. The choice is yours… for now.
.Lorenzo: “Her life for my life” β And I’ll be let off?
.Caller: I don’t see any reasons why not as long as you give her up, your death will be renounced.
.Lorenzo: What if I won’t give her up?
.Caller: (synical tone) You’re smarter than this. You know what that means, already. The choice is yours to make, Lobos. (Hints) He-he, I assume you don’t want the situation to spiral out of control.
.Lorenzo: Since we’ve agree on the terms, I’ll give her up. And bring her to you myself.
.Caller: Bravo!
.Lorenzo: (growl) But you’ll have to go through me first. Let’s play game!
.Caller: What a tragic death wish! Ah, Lobos, you never cease to amaze me. What do you gain by getting yourself killed? Why are you calling death upon yourself? Are you a heartless brother who wants to put your sister in a state of excruciating pain? Do you want your sister to shed crocodiles tears over your corpse? Or your loving girlfriend, who will be my disposal container for my orgasm after your demise, reminding her every day of your unfortunate death when I screw her?
Hearing that, Lorenzo gnashed his teeth and clenched his left fist in anger, his expression twisted in even greater fury. He couldn’t imagine the feelings of letting Bao be used as a s*x toy in someone else’s home; he would never forgive himself if that happened, as he listened with growing fury.
Caller: Is she worth dying for? Because that’s how I feel. (Scoffs) Oh, let me get this straight. Love! Someone should remind me of that quote again: ‘Love is not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you…’ (Mocking laughter) LOVE? Hahaha! F**k love. Dead Gordo was right about you; you wouldn’t trade her life for anything. Now, I see you’re doing great. What’s your statement again? ‘But you have to kill me first….’ Just hear yourself talking. I’m giving you a second chance to stay alive…
.Lorenzo: (Barges in) No, I’m the one giving you a chance to face me one on one in the octagon. What do you say, Chief? Unless you’re afraid of getting your a*s beaten…
.Caller: (stiff laugh) Can you listen to yourself? Or you wanna say get your own a*s killed when I break every inch of your bones in your body with my bare hand. I’ll give you that, but you can only try. You have no idea whom you’re dealing with, boy…
.Lorenzo: Let’s find out!
.Caller: Is that so? It’ll be my pleasure. I hope the men I ordered to make your life a living hell in the cell for failing me didn’t break your bones too much to fight for your love….
Hearing the statement triggered memories of his time in the cell after his arrestβbrutal memories of gang members jumping him repeatedly, breaking the bridge of his nose. It nearly cost him his life. Those four weeks behind bars were pure hell. What he didnβt know at the time was that it had all been orchestratedβa setup, later confessed by the caller himself. Lorenzoβs face darkened, his eyes burning with fury. His fist clenched, ready to lash out, but he stayed silent and listened. The caller, hoping for a reaction, sniffed and spoke againβthis time, with bitter disappointmentβbefore Lorenzo could respond.
Caller: I thought so.
.Lorenzo: Nice thought! Dundas Streetβ3rd Skull territoryβat 10 o’clock!
.Caller: Where your death would take place, I presume. Well, then, Lobos, itβs good to know you value her life more than your own. I’d gladly welcome you with death!
The moment he said that, Lorenzo ended the call immediately, turning aroundβonly to find Bao standing at the edge of the three steps that led up to the veranda where he stood. She was there, silent and unmoving, giving him a blank yet piercing look that struck him deeper than any words could. In that instant, his thoughts began to spiral. Had she been there the whole time? Had she heard everything he said on the phone? If she had, then he feared the worstβit would take the whole world and more to win back the goodness of her heart. Especially now, with the deadly task he was preparing to carry outβone she would never approve of, not out of disloyalty, but because of the fear that it could cost her the man she loved.
For any reason, she felt she didnβt have to be mad at him for his next move, knowing deep down that he was doing everything to save herβno matter the cost. But whatever thoughts he had about her feelings vanished the moment she walked up to him, a faint smile playing on her lips as she spoke.
Bao: I thought you had left me for inside.
Hearing that, Lorenzo heaved a sigh of relief and spoke with a serious expression, though a slight smile curled at the corner of his lips.
Lorenzo: Seems like someone has something in mind to do if had done that. Or maybe you have something planned for me.
.Bao: That sounds right to me. Because I was planning on starting world war III with you in the house.
Bao said sarcastically, folding her arms and looking him in the eyes as she stood in front of him. Hoping he would respond to her sarcasm, he slowly embraced her and pulled her close with an expression that unsettled her as she felt his arms around her waist. Sensing something was wrong, she grew a bit uneasyβthen he spoke words that left her mute.
Lorenzo: Thank you for coming into my life. As long as I breath, I promise to protect you and cherish you no matter what happened.
After his genuine statement, she unfolded her arms and wrapped them around his shoulders, comforted by his gentle words, even without knowing the reasons behind them. As far as she was concerned, the reasons didn’t matterβas long as they were together. As they embraced affectionately, Bao exhaled deeply, releasing her feelings in a soft, sincere voice.
Bao: I love you so much, Lorenzo.
.Lorenzo: I know. I love you too.
Lorenzo answered in a hoarse voice, planting a kiss on her head while his eyes scanned the area with cautious observation and intent, as if suspicious.
Bao: You know, I wish we could stay like this forever.
.Lorenzo: I wish, honey! Come on, let’s get inside!
Saying that, Lorenzo released her body and held her hand as he opened the door. Bao’s eyes were etched with loveβshe couldnβt take them off him, especially with the way he held her: earnestly, affectionately, and tightly, as if heβd never let go. It wasnβt just an ordinary touch; to her, it was something deeper, something anyone in love could relate to. In that moment, he wasnβt just her loverβhe was her source of strength, her comfort, her confidence. The thought of life without him unsettled her. He was the love of her life, the only one who truly cared for and understood her. She couldnβt bear to imagine a world without him.
As they entered the house, Bao slipped free from his strong grip, her attention drawn to a rose in a small, elegant vase on a wooden table. After briefly scanning the room, she walked over, captivated by the flower, and lifted the vase to admire it, sniffing it with a look of admiration. Lorenzo, unsurprised by her sudden move, quietly locked the door behind them. He dropped the key into his pocket, then walked over to the small dining area and opened the fridge. He pulled out a bottle of whiskey and a glass, gently closed the fridge door with his leg, and stepped into the cozy living room to sit on the long, soft couch.
Within seconds, he opened the bottle, poured the drink into the glass, and took a sip, his eyes fixed on Bao as she gently explored the flower. He made a teasing gesture toward her before taking another sip.
Lorenzo: I see you’ve found something likely companionable!
Comprehending his statement, Bao glanced at him and carefully placed the vase back down. She asked a question, pretending not to understand what he meant, as she walked over to join him on the chair with a brief smile
Bao: And what might that be?
.Lorenzo: You know what might that be!
.Bao: (scoffs) No, tell me what might that be!
.Lorenzo: Just because we were apart for months doesn’t make me an imbecile. I know you too well, my dear. Snap out of it and admit you understood what I literally meant.
.Bao: F**k! I’m taking that as a free pass because, honestly, I have no idea what you meant.
Bao shrugged, trying to defend herself, even though she knew he was right.
Lorenzo: I don’t buy that. Don’t be stubborn. You’re not good at lying, honey!
.Bao: Okay, fine! You caught me. You meant the rose, I’m shocked! But it’s not as companionable as you’re to me. Will you spend some more time?
As she asked, she gently rested her head on his broad shoulder and forearm. Lorenzo slipped his hand behind her back, pulling her closer as he wrapped his arms around her waist. Then, he leaned his head against hers and exhaled before replying.
Lorenzo: Yes… As much as we want.
.Bao: And would you stay if I told you to?
.Lorenzo: Yes, but no. As much as I’d like us to spend time as much as we want, honestly, I can’t stay for too long. I’ve got other things that needs to be taken care of.
.Bao: Am I that isipid that you would say so?
.Lorenzo: F**k, no! You misunderstood me…
.Bao: No, I understood you. (chuckles) I was just kidding. But what I don’t really understand is what exactly needs to be taken care of. Now, I’m going to ask you right awayβbe honest with me, Lorenzo. (gasps) Have you ever killed someone before?
Bao asked softly, her head still resting on his shoulder as she craved an answer, even though she hadnβt meant to ask, especially considering his gang lifestyle. She knew he wasn’t an exception to what other gangsters did in the state, but in that moment, her curiosity needed satisfaction.
Asked with a question, Lorenzo gulped down the whiskey from the bottle in his hand and dropped the glass cup, remaining silent for a while before answering her in a quiet tone.
Lorenzo: Yes.
His response felt like a sharp needle piercing into her skin after she heard it, stopping her from toying with his forearm in an instant. Her curious expression was replaced by one of disappointment. Even though, as a gangster, she knew killing was the first task he’d be given to prove his loyalty to the organization, she still couldnβt believe he had done that. She asked one more time in her soft tone, now replaced by dour expression.
Bao: How many?
.Lorenzo: Four! It was never persona…
.Bao: (interjected) Yes, it wasn’t!
Saying that, Bao lifted her head off his shoulder and placed her legs on the sofa, leaning her back against the arm of the chair while facing him with her arms folded akimbo. She then added to her statement, fixing her eyes on him, her expression and reactions showing she wasn’t happy, which Lorenzo knew as he looked in her direction.
Bao: I knowβI didn’t say it was personal!
.Lorenzo: (Sigh) After I was forced to join the organization and sent on an errand by the men who killed my casual friend and his sister, I learned that most of the money made from the drug business was taken by the men for their own selfish interests. The cash earned always surpassed the exact amount made by them and given to the superior before I complied with them. They lived extravagantly in the absence of the superior and treated me and my friend like pieces of shit. Then one night, the FBI raided the mansion where the men secretly stayed with the superior himself, leaving these selfish men in the greatest shock of their lives as they couldn’t believe how their location was discovered by the superior. There was no one else who knew their secret location other than my casual friend, Reid. Also, the fact that the superior was among the FBI made it look like a setup. The FBI, ordered by the superior himself, spoke in Spanish, which was difficult for me to understand while I was pinned down. Everything happened so fast when the superior looked me in the eyes and handed me a gun to end the men’s lives. He then ordered one of the FBI agents to take my life if I failed to kill the men in five seconds. As much as I hated what the men had done to me, there was a part of me that didnβt want to pull the trigger, but five seconds was my only chance to stay alive that night. I had no choice but to put bullets in the menβs heads and kill them…
.Bao: I didn’t say you had a choice either, Lorenzo.
.Bao blurted softly, Lorenzo turned his gaze in her direction for awhile, as she also fixed her eyes at him. Then he gasp a little and added, taking his eyes off her and facing forward.
Lorenzo: I know. (continues) Later that very day, the superior summoned me to carry out a task for him personally with his drug as a test run. This went on for a month, and I was amazed by how my hands were fortunate with the drug business. He liked me because of that and made me his right-hand man after a month of testing, allowing other members to respect me as much as he was respected. He was an eye-opener, making me understand why he had the men killed that night, which had left me wondering before. During the month I worked, I was too naive to understand that back then. Meanwhile, he knew the selfish acts of the men, teaching me to learn from their mistakes and from whoever betrays him…
Saying that, Lorenzo gulped down the whiskey in the glass cup and placed it on the table before them. Bao said in a chuckling, soft voice, still fixing her eyes on him, trying to be careful with her words without sounding too direct.
Bao: And here you are, sitting with your, uh, superior’s debtor’s daughter, when you have every chance in the world to turn me in to your boss. Doesn’t this feel like some kind of betrayal?
.Lorenzo: No, given our past, handing you over to him to settle your father’s debtsβdebts you never knew aboutβand using you as a s*x toy to pay them back in that way is the true act of betrayal. I won’t sit by and watch that happen, no!
After saying that, Lorenzo grasped the cup with the whiskey bottle and stood, walking into the dining area with a confident stride. He then put the whiskey bottle back into the fridge while Bao watched him in silence, marveling at his response and his confident poise. She knew he wasnβt a god or some powerful being, but his manner towards her made her feel at ease. Looking in his direction, she cleared her throat and spoke out genuinely as he looked inside the fridge in silence, as if searching for something.
Bao: Hey, about what you said earlier, regarding the, uh, selfish men you killedβI was just curious, which led me to ask that question. It sure hurts to know you actually killed people. The deed is done, and there’s nothing that can change the fact that you killed, even though it wasn’t your fault or your intention. You only had 5 seconds to live that night, and it was the only way out to stay alive. Sometimes, we’re trapped and forced to do wrong things for the right reasons. I have no right to judge that. You did what anyone else might have done and anyone can relate. I’m no exception; Iβd have done the same if our roles were reversed.
Saying that, Lorenzo gently slammed the fridge door shut, startling her, and calmly stepped out of the dining room without a wordβhis face expressionlessβas he sat on the chair beside her. With his fingers steepled and his forearms resting on his thighs, he faced forward without giving her a single glance, which Bao quickly noticed, lowering her head in response.
His action left her with sudden, conflicting thoughts in her head, as he hadn’t shown any sign that he was truly with her. But she immediately pushed the thought away and decided to find out what was the matter with him
Bao: You okay?
Asked with a question, Lorenzo glanced at her, followed by a quick smile. The flicker of his smile alone gave her a sense of relief as she looked in his direction.
Lorenzo: I’m alright. Just wondering what’s taking the passport agent so long to get here. She should be around by now… (Sighs) Hey, come!
He added, then stretched out his hand towards her to grasp her hand and pull her closer, while he slowly raised his legs onto the arms of the chair at the end. His lovely gesture gave her a sense of comfort and security, encouraging her to crawl up to him and gently lean on top of him as he reclined against the chair. His arms wrapped around her body, followed by a soft sigh of relief, as they felt each other’s hearts and breathing. Their position fostered relaxation and comfort between them.

BLOODSHED 2
{Continuation…}
Meanwhile, back in the territory of the Red Wolves gang, a dark van pulled up, screeching to a halt in front of the building. Two members emerged from the building, dressed only in black baggy trousers and boots, puffing on cigarettes. As they came out, four members of the Red Wolves leapt out of the van with two other men, whose hands were bound, and rushed into the big building. This caught the attention of some of the other Red Wolves members in the building until they reached their superior’s room.
The pinioned men were thrown to the floor in front of Miguel, whose back was turned towards them. His waist is wrapped in a white towel, with a Cuban cigar clenched between his lips, as he counted each bundle of CAD dollars on the large table cluttered with cards, dice, guns, and hard drugs: cocaine, weed, and cigars. The two men on the floor were immediately pulled up to their knees by four of Miguel’s men, their faces bruised and battered, with black eyes. Two of the men held the captives’ faces up, pressing sharp, fixed-blade knives against their necks
In that moment, Miguel turned around and perched lightly on the table, standing with one leg crossed over the other. His towel, wrapped around his waist, accentuated his physique. With poise, he placed two fingers opposite his Cuban cigar to hold it and puffed on it, examining the two men kneeling before him. As he exhaled, smoke billowed from his mouth, and he narrowed his eyes. Despite his intimidating appearance, which commanded both terror and respect from those around him, neither of the men on their knees showed any sign of fear.
Miguel: As far as I can remember, there were three of them who tried to claim my life two days ago. Where is the third person?
Miguel asked one of his men in a placid voice, filling the room with the pungent aroma of his Cuban cigar smoke as he fixed his eyes on the men kneeling before him.
Gangster 4: He attempts to shoot us, so we gave him a one-way ticket…
.Miguel: To the afterlife, good! And look who’s here? Tell me, how come are this ones alive?
Miguel asked, his face inches from the one who had answered his question. He exhaled smoke onto the man’s face, his eyes locked intensely on him, while the others watched in dead silence.
Gangster: (bows his face) Because… They weren’t armed when we caught them, jefe.
.Miguel: But you gave them beating of their life, didn’t you?
Miguel asked, trying to intimidate him.
Gangster 4: Yes, jefe!
.Miguel: THANK YOU, GOOD BOY!
Miguel said loudly, raising his hands. His loud voice sent a cold chill down the spines of his men as he walked over to perch lightly on the table, standing with one leg crossed over the other.
Miguel: Because I’m going to let them pay for what they did. I’ll show you two what happens to those who cross me. But I’ll buy you some time. And I’m going to ask this once, who sent you to come and kill me?
Miguel asked in a grave voice, feeling undisturbed, as he absorbed in his cuban cigar with poise. The two men on their knees didn’t give him response as they gave him death stare, especially the older one. Ever since he was brought to the ground with his partner, he’s been trying to break loose from the grip of the men of Miguel, which Miguel observed in the nick of time. Observing him, Miguel pick a saw knife from the large table behind him and walked to the young man then squats at his front.
Miguel: Please, tell me he’s the boss, young man.
Miguel blurted, looking him straight in the eye, a cynical smile spreading across his face as he expected a response. However, instead of answering, the younger man spat in his face and chuckled before responding, his expression transforming into anger.
Man 1: The answer is “go f**k yourself, son of a bitch”
After his statement, he spat on Miguel face again, which prompted one of Miguel’s men to bash him hard on the head with the handle of the knife that was place on his neck, making him bleed instantly. He winced as blood oozed down his face from the head. But Miguel signaled to his men to stop immediately as he did that and chuckles, rubbing the young man’s spit from his face with poise.
Unexpectedly, Miguel stabbed the young man deep in the chin with the saw knife. Blood oozed from the man’s nose and mouth as his eyes remained wide open. As he slowly penetrated the saw knife deeper into his chin, blood gushed immensely as the tip of the knife appeared from the middle of the young man’s head. Next, Miguel slowly pulled the knife down halfway, the blade covered in blood, and slit the young man’s neck open with great agility, the cut accompanied by a loud ‘CRACK’. The young man’s head lost balance, falling onto his shoulder, his neck half-opened, as blood oozed out extremely before he succumbed to his injury.
After the deed, Miguel rubs the knife on the clothes of the young man’s corpse, followed by his hands with no sign of remorse in him. Then, he issued orders, his gaze directed at his own men while the older men closed his eyes, fuming in rage.
Miguel: Two of you should clean up this mess. Take this perpetrators out of my sight.
Immediately, two out of Miguel’s men drags the younger man’s corpse out of the room by the legs. As they pull, the blood of the young mans corpse stained the floor, leaving trace. As soon as they were gone, Miguel glance at the other man in knees before walking back to the table, but his word only fuel the rage of the man. Miguel was about to pick up a gun from the large table when the man blurted.
Man: Look at this hypocrite. He’s accusing someone of being a perpetrator, yet he’s the worst of all. A heinous and poisonous individual who inflict pain and sorrow into the lives of many, yet claims to be honest. A wolf in sheep’s clothing who doesn’t deserve to exist, a menace who should be eradicated from the face of the earth.
Hearing that, Miguel furrowed his eyesbrow and clenched his fist at first, but then, he clapped his palms shortly after his statement with his back still directed, as he spoke.
Miguel: Vengeance… vengeance for the death of your old man. Hm, alessandro gave birth to a wild son. Unfortunately, only he’s alive now to see how vengeful is his son wants to take my life so badly. You’re alessandro Luca’s son, Andrea, aren’t you?
.Andrea: HOW DARE YOU? HOW COULD YOU? WHAT COULD HE HAVE POSSIBLY DONE?
The poor man yelled at Miguel, panting and giving him a death stare that could kill, but the men of Miguel pinioned him from breaking loose from their weapon and grip
Miguel: I knew it.
Miguel said in a calm voice, as he took the gun from the table and loads it, paying close attention on it carefully. Then, he added.
Miguel: Vengeance. I know the cravings for vengeance: intense anger, hurt, frustration, bitterness, obsession, helplessness, shame, and anticipation. You see, these emotions can swirl together, creating a powerful and potentially overwhelming desire for vengeance. And when it happens, you feel controlled and blinded by them. The aftermath is often unpleasant. The question is, what feelings does it bring after achieving vengeance?
.Andrea: (frowning) I’ll take great pleasure in dismantling you.
.Miguel: Ha-ha! I admire your confidence, but you’re trap now.
.Andrea: (snarling) Tell your dogs to let go of me, and let’s find out. I’m gonna tear you into pieces! Come on, coward!”
.Miguel: ‘I’m gonna kill you…’ was my first statement when I vowed to avenge my sister’s death
Saying that, Miguel dropped the gun and picked up a passport shattered on the large table. He fixed his eyes on it as he added to his statements
Miguel: Her name was Alessia, a good sister to me. She was everything to me. She was like a loving father, mother, brother, and sister β she was the only person I grew up knowing for most of my life. We lost our father before my birth, and my mother passed away after my birth. (Gasp) But my sister stood by my side. You see, she was the one who bathed me, fed me, and took me to school. She helped me with my schoolwork. She sacrificed a lot for me, making sure I didn’t lack a thing. But one night, she was raped and murdered in cold blood before my eyes. In the process of being raped, she bit one of the rapists on the hand. Out of anger, the one who was bitten grasped a massive stone and smashed it into her skull, busting her head open.
After that, Miguel clenched his fists, squeezing the passport in his palm, and continued, his voice calm and soft.
Miguel: The thing is, I was old and smart enough when she was sexually assaulted and murdered in front of me. As far as I can remember, I was just a fifteen-year-old boy who was planning to get admitted to a higher institution with my sister’s support. I was a fifteen-year-old who had planned to make my sister proud at any cost. But they murdered my sister in cold blood, which prompted the young boy I was to make decisions I never meant to take. Vengeance! Vengeance was the only thing that rang in my head after that day. And I did achieve it. I killed the men who took away the only family I had in my life, brutally. But that didn’t end there. I killed all their families, brutally, until there was no bloodline left of any of them. A day doesn’t go by without me drifting off to sleep, haunted by the memories of those I killed, feeling vivid dreams that replay the traumatic events.
Andrea: Congratulations! You’re a master narrator!
.Miguel: (scoffs) No!!
Miguel disagreed, picking the gun and turned around, facing him. Then, he walked to him with confident stride saying, In a gravely voice.
Miguel: No! I’m a survivor, and death, which is about to seal your fate right now. Any last words, Chief?
Miguel asked, pointing the gun on head, as they both maintained deadly look. But, the man said boldly.
Andrea: Yes, you won. And I’m not afraid to die…
.Miguel: And I’m not also afraid to send you to the afterlife..
Saying that, Miguel cocks the gun, which echoed ‘clicks’ ready to pull the trigger, but the man stopped him.
Andrea: Wait! You think this is the end? No, this is just the beginning. You kill me, my people will take your head.
.Miguel: All I see is an empty threat. I’ve been in situations even more dire than that before. The truth is that, I’m always ahead of the game. So, let them come, I’ll be glad to welcome them with death too…
As soon as he finished his statement, Miguel shot him on the right shoulder, a loud ‘BOOM’ echoed through the room. The poor man fell to the ground, groaning loudly in an excruciating pain, clutching his right shoulder, as he laid flat on his back. Again, Miguel cocks the gun and point it down directly at him.
Andrea: (coughs blood, wincing) Ahhhh, you son of a bitch. Don’t.. don’t get too cocky. You’ll suffer the consequences.
.Miguel: Every actions has repercussions in life, I know. You don’t need to remind me. Besides, here you are, bleeding and lying helplessly on the floor like a dying goat. You should be concerned about the consequences you’re facing right now…
.Andrea: (coughs up again) Ahh.. My.. my.. spirit will haunt you..
.Miguel: Ah, that’s fantasy. F-cking nonsense! I’m surprised you are so gullible, believing in such tales. Imbecile! I never had a sister; I made up the whole story. I hope your father gives you a convincing reason why he was killed when you meet him in the afterlife.
.Andrea: (hoarse voice) You won’t… get… away with this…
“BOOM”
Miguel shot him in the forehead as soon as he finished his statement. The loud sound of the gun echoed through the room, and the gunshot caused the man to bleed profusely from the head, creating a gaping hole in his forehead. His eyes remained open, frozen in a permanent stare, with his hands splayed apart slightly on the floor. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Miguel cocked the gun and continued firing at him, riddling his face with bullets until the gun was out of ammunition. Then, he issued a command, casting a glance at his men.
Miguel: Get him the hell out of my sight feed his corpse to the altasians at the backyard..
The other two of his men did as they were ordered. As the men carried out his order, Miguel walked over to sit on a small couch with his leg crossed, flipping the short gun in a full circle with his thumb. Just then, a young man, short and chubby, marched in towards where Miguel is sitting in a comfortable manner. Unfazed by the sight of the man’s corpse being pulled out of the room, he observed as the men dragged the corpse through a narrow hallway that led to another room. He stopped in his tracks, looking at Miguel, who was absorbed in puffing on his Cuban cigar, each passing second.
Confidently, he pulled out his wrapped weed from the back of his jeans pocket, along with a lighter, and placed the weed at the side of his lip. Next, he lit it, leaning against the wall in a cross-legged standing position, and inhaled and exhaled the weed calmly. Noticing his confident pose, Miguel trailed off deceivingly, looking at him with a faint smile.
Miguel: Guilio, El gardo (Julius, the fat man), the most stout-hearted man I’ve ever seen.
.Julius: (laughs) Hahahaha, I appreciate your praise, jefe.
.Miguel: You’re welcome! The most stout-hearted man, who feels in control now, stands confidently to smoke before I get my answers from the assignment I aligned him to do.
Hearing that, Julius’s smile instantly faded, replaced by a realization and fearful expression, as he sensed his boss’s voice turning cold. Especially, the way he flipped the gun in a full circle every second sent a cold chill down his spine. Comprehending every last word, Julius got rid of his weed, trying to prove the allegation was wrong.
Julius: Uh, it’s not… what you think, jefe.
.Miguel: You’re a big man now, huh?
.Julius: No, no, jefe, I, uh…
.Miguel: Then, SPEAK ALREADY!! DO I NEED TO TELL YOU WHAT TO DO? (Sighs) What’s the update? Fill me in.
.Julius: I found El gato dead when I got to his apartment this afternoon
.Miguel: Wait, you found him dead in his apartment?
.Julius: Precisely, Jefe!
.Miguel: Any cause for his death?
.Julius: I’ve got no idea! But I found a knife stuck in his neck. He must’ve been stabbed there by someone
.Miguel: Yes, if not, why’d there be a knife in his neck, imbecile?
.Julius: Sorry, Jefe! (Clears his throat) Ahem, I suspect this might be the work of one our rivals crew.
.Miguel: Okay, what’s your suggestions?
He asked with full intention, puffing on his Cuban cigar.
Julius: We fight back…
.Miguel: I disagree, for now, although that seems fair. Since our rivals and we are a threat to each other, they took care of what we were supposed to do, which was to eliminate Gordo. They did a fine job! For now, let’s buy them some time, giving them a false sense of security. I’ll see that as a free pass to take action against them next time when they harm another one of ours without holding back. I’m glad they eliminated the coward. I will not tolerate anyone bringing shame to this organization again. Never! El Lobo’s death will be more brutal than any other, serving as a stark warning to members of this organization. It will also strengthen our resolve within. We are Red Wolves! We are rich, strong, and powerful. We cannot accept defeat from anyone, no matter what. We fight to protect our legacy in this country, even if it costs us our lives. It’s the rule. (soliloquize) Given your position, Lobo, you were defeated by a mere girl. I made you my right-hand man because you’re smart, strong, and trustworthy. How dare you, Lobo? You brought this misfortune upon yourself, and you must face the consequences. If only he knew what I’ve done in his life four weeks ago, he wouldn’t dare do anything stupid and would accept his fate. He would’ve been dead four weeks ago. I gave him time to realize the shame he brought upon himself and this organization by letting him stay in prison. Now, I realize that no matter how far one runs from death, death will always catch up when the time comes. It’s the same death that will s**k the life out of him. Ah, Lobo, I never expected this from you, given your position as my right-hand man. It shouldn’t have been you, no! And I’ll see you meet your demise, poor soul
.Julius: If you don’t mind m…
.Miguel: Hang on, have I been speaking Italian the entire time? If I don’t mind? What’s my business with him, if I don’t mind? If I didn’t mind, stupid, would I even be talking about him? I expect a darn good reason why I shouldn’t end your life right now
Miguel said, frustration evident in his voice, as he pointed the gun at Julius, sitting cross-legged in a similar position. He cocked the gun, prompting Julius to shrink back and splutter, knowing the kind of man his boss was – one who treated life lightly.
Julius: B-b-b-because…
.Miguel: Until we meet again, my friend! (Cocks the gun)
.Julius: Because he’s got who you need!
Julius blurted, terror spreading across his face. Then, there was a suspenseful silence between them, as Miguel observed him for a while, still pointing the gun at him with a cold expression, which was soon replaced by a cynical smile. And then he asked, flipping the gun back in a full circle with his thumb.
Miguel: You’d best better pray I find your words reasonable and convincing, or your words will tell you take a bullet or not. Who might that be, anyway? (Smokes inhales from his mouth and nose)
.Julius: The debtor’s daughter!
.Miguel: I’ve got a lots of debtor’s daughter working for this organization, so which of them?
.Julius: The one you ordered our men to bring to you hours ago, if her father couldn’t pay back his debt – remember?
.Miguel: Go ahead! (Puffs his cuban cigar)
.Julius: By chance, I saw her in a car with Lorenzo on my way here, but they weren’t aware of it. She’s a friend of Lobo’s, more than a friend, even. In fact, they both grew up together, along with others, not just close to them. (Splutter) It’s not my intention to say this, but based on the connection I’ve seen between them, I don’t think Lobo would give her up under any circumstances, Jefe. From what I know, he’d do anything to protect her from harm, which is something I’ve witnessed firsthand growing up with him, Jefe!
.Miguel: Hm, I see. But I hope your girlfriend is around to protect you from the deadly harm I’m about to inflict now… (Cocks his gun)
.Julius: (gulps) H-have I said anything wrong, jefe?
.Miguel: (smile heinously) No, you’ve made a grave mistake!
Julius swallowed hard, his eyes widening in terror. And then, in a split second, Miguel’s gun fired, the bullet tearing into Julius’s stomach. The loud “BOOM” of the gun reverberated through the room, making everyone’s ears ring. Julius’s anguished groan echoed through the space, a haunting sound that sent shivers down the spines of those who witnessed the brutal act. The room fell silent, the only sound being Julius’s labored breathing and the faint smell of gunpowder lingering in the air.
Julius: Aaah!!
Julius yelped and slumped down, holding the side of his stomach where he was shot, bleeding severely. As he shifted his weight backward, he looked up at Miguel, who had now stood up from the chair. Miguel walked calmly towards him, cocked the gun, and his reaction commanded fear.
Miguel: Can’t you see that? That everything makes sense now!
.Julius: (grunts) I’ll do… anything, jefe. But, please… don’t take my life…
.Miguel: Ah, it’s too late. You’re finished, Guilio. As far as I’m concerned, you’re as good as dead. And nothing you say will convince me to spare your life today, my friend. Especially when you know what’s going on. As fat as you are, I’m shocked you’re this clueless. You can’t make a decision on your own; at least, to try to impress me for once. But, you’ve been getting on my nerves with the assignments I gave you. As I recall, you were standing by my side when I ordered some of our men to bring me the debtor’s daughter if he refused to pay me. Wasn’t it? Why can’t you understand that the debtor’s daughter sprinted from our men? Didn’t your instincts kick in? What the f**k were you thinking? Because I think you could’ve done something. I might have been impressed if you’d brought Lorenzo’s head with you, but instead, you came back empty-handed, carrying that useless weight of yours…
.Julius: (groaning in agony) Please… Jefe… (guttural m**n) give me… another chance… to prove myself…
.Miguel: Shut the f*** up, B-tch! Don’t worry, I’ll end your pain soon, but let me finish speaking. You had your chance, Guilio. You should’ve played your cards right. Look at your life now, you’re f-cking done for. Maybe I’d have made you my right-hand man by now. Or maybe you’d have been promoted above the others. Little things impress me a lot, depending on how they’re done. You could’ve been enjoying half of my privileges, like Lobo’s, which you all know I don’t joke about. Or… maybe you won’t be joining your ancestors in the afterlife today. Now, I know what I must do… (cocks the gun)
.Julius: (guttural moans) Pleeeeease… noooo… noooo… (desperate whimpering)
.Miguel: You brought this upon yourself, Giulio. Your own dullness sealed your fate.
BOOM! BOOM!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!!!
Miguel shot him four times in the stomach, the sound of the gun reverberating through the room. The loud reports sent shivers down the spines of the others present, who watched in horror as the scene unfolded. After committing the deed, Miguel turned his attention to Julius, whose body now lay limp and bleeding profusely from the gunshot wounds. Julius’s eyes remained open, frozen in a permanent stare. Miguel’s gaze lingered on Julius for a moment before he squatted down, rubbing his face with his hands. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as if trying to compose himself. A sigh escaped his lips as he stood up.Then, he spoke, his voice barely above a whisper.
Miguel: I hope your soul rest in peace, brother
After saying that, Miguel flipped the gun in a full circle with his thumb and turned around, walking towards the large table. As soon as he reached the table, he dropped the gun and picked up one of the phones on the table, scrolling through it. Shortly after, he placed the phone to his right ear.
Miguel: Hello, lobos!
He said, his voice calm and his face hung low a bit. Shortly after, he raised his face with a heinous expression, sneering.

“BLOODSHED”
Omni-pov
Somewhere in Yonge-Dundas Street East, surrounded by iconic landmarks like the Toronto Eaton Centre, Ed Mirvish Theatre, and the Citytv building, the 42-story tower at 10 Dundas Street East stood tall unlike any other building in the city. Some cars are parked in the area around 10 Dundas Street East, and some cars moved about, and some are in traffic jams.
At a nearby parking lot, a car stood out from the rest – a brown G-Wagon that gleamed under the scorching sun. The G-Wagon’s windows, including the windshield, were tinted dark, making it difficult to determine if anyone was inside. Its formidable and luxurious appearance drew attention.
Meanwhile, inside the car, two young women watched the scene unfold outside without any difficulty, despite the tinted windows. Unlike the people outside who struggled to see in, the women had a clear view. The woman in the backseat folded her arms, her frustration evident as she asked:
Marissa: Remind me how long we’ve been here, Piper?
.Piper: Um, okay! Let me remind you, we went to the Chinese restaurant to eat, and we spent only 30 minutes there.
Marissa facepalmed, shaking her head as Piper continued.
Piper: Um, thereafter, we came here and spent another thirty minutes. So, that makes it sixty minutes β one hour. We’ve been here for the past hour, yes!
.Marissa: Do you always have to exaggerate?
.Piper: Sorry, boss! I was just being analytical, looking at the statistics.
.Marissa: Never mind! Ahh, great! For the past hour, we’ve been sitting here looking like fools, and she still hasn’t come out of the tower. THAT SCUM…! Piper, that scum is taking way too long in the tower
.Piper: We can make her death look quick, if you’d like. No one would suspect a thing. Just give me the go-ahead, boss!
.Marissa: I’d like to, but you can’t do this in a place like that. It’s an office building, with various business and organization occupying the space. Aside from that, the building is also tight with strong security measures.
.Piper: Haha, that’s child’s play, boss. I mean, that’s too small for me to handle. I’ve handled tougher jobs, like killing someone in a prison and escaping from one of the world’s most secure prisons. That was few years ago, though. So, the tower’s security is nothing compared to what I’ve already overcome.
.Marissa: My, my! Really? You’re so amazing!
Marissa said, pretending to be excited, and Piper giggled, saying:
Piper: Hahaha! Thank you, boss… I can bring you her head I’d you want too!
Piper added, her smiley face turned into menace as she turned and look at Marissa behind her in the backseat.
Marissa: (folds her arms, sighing) Are you certain the tracking device hasn’t led us to wrong location?
Marissa asked in a skeptical tone, her expression dour.
Piper: No, bo…!
.Marissa: Then, we’ll proceed with the previous plan, right under her nose. I’d savor the pleasure of looking her in the eyes as life drains out of her slowly. I’ll take great pleasure in it. Oh! And here she comes.
Marissa’s eyes narrowed menacingly as she spotted Camillia emerging from the tower. Camillia wore a skimpy gold gown, accompanied by another lady in a beautiful blouse and skintight blue jeans. As they walked, their hips swayed gracefully, their hair blowing backward in the wind. Unaware of Marissa’s vengeful gaze, they moved with confident poses.
Watching from her car, Marissa rested her back against the backseat comfortably, her menacing look turning into a sneer as she sighed. Piper held the steering wheel, tapping her thumbs gently on it, with the same look on her face, biting her lip as their eyes remained fixed on them in a steadfast vengeance gaze
Marissa: Look who showed up. The ungrateful scum and her bitchy assistant. I fear she’ll share the same fate as her boss. What a pity!
Saying that, Marissa’s eyes met Piper’s, whose gaze was fixed on her through the rearview mirror; she shrugged.
Marissa: Okay, what, Piper? Tell me you’re not taking pity on her bitchy assistant now. Her boss is the one who’ll bring death to her. Her blood will be on Camillia’s hands, not mine. If the assistant is meant to follow her to the afterlife, it’s not up to me, but up to God or fate to decide. And that’s not my problem anymore.
.Piper: (blank look) ??
.Marissa: (sighs) Ah, okay… What’s on your mind, P? Lay it all out.
.Piper: (sneers) YES! I only pray her bitchy assistant follows her. I’ll also partake in the great pleasure of skinning her alive and sending her to the afterlife with her boss, ma’am!
.Marissa: Good talk, P. It’d be worth your time. Ah, I think fate has finally made its decision. Last time we met, her P.A didn’t accompany her. Now, her P.A will follow her to the afterlife. It’s destiny’s decision.
Marissa spoke out as she observed Camillia and her PA entering the car. Piper then added to her statements.
Piper: Her boss will have a permanent sidekick in the afterlife, Hahahahaha!!!!!!
.Marissa: Absolutely, P. Now, drive. They’re moving outta the parking lots. Trail their car, but keep a safe distance from them to avoid suspicion.
.Piper: Roger that, boss! I am very eager to shed blood. I can do this all day.
.Marissa: I trust you!
.Piper: Hahahaha!!!
Piper giggled and pressed the push-button start on the steering column, turning on the engine. She shifted into gear, then slowly drove the car out of the parking lot, following Camillia’s car onto the road. They trailed Camillia’s car through the city until it slowed down and turned, facing the golden gates of a beautiful white mansion. As Camillia’s car turned, the gates automatically swung open, and the car was driven into the compound.
Marissa: Hmph! So, this is where the scum lives.
Marissa blurted, seething with anger and envy as she observed Camillia’s mansion from their car at a distance. The mansion stood out, big and beautiful, unlike any other building in the area. Meanwhile, Piper’s menacing look gave way to an admiring one, and she bit her lip.
Piper: Beautiful, isn’t it?
.Marissa: (Inhale) It is. Her beautiful Mansion will be awash with her blood anytime soon. Drive into her compound before the f*****g gate get closes.
As soon as Camillia’s car entered the compound, Piper floored it, her palms gripping the steering wheel. The G-wagon sped into Camillia’s compound, drifting sideways before Piper pulled over. Camillia and her PA, who had just stepped out of their car, exchanged suspicious glances. Camillia asked, eyeing the G-wagon warily.
Marissa: Were we expecting guests before, Claire?
.Claire: Uh, No, Ms Jone. I’m very sure about that.
.Camillia: Then, who’s this who thinks they can just drive into my compound anyhow out of nowhere like this place is a parking lots or something. Give me my phone, Claire. I may have to going to call the cops now.
Just then, the driver’s side door swung open, halting Camillia’s reach for her phone. Piper sprang out of the car, leaving the door ajar. She yawned, stretching languidly before waving at them with a cynical smile.
Piper: Hi, there!
Camillia’s eyebrows furrowed in response. Piper then walked to the back door and opened it with a respectful gesture. Marissa emerged from the car with confident strides, examining the compound briefly before turning to Camillia with a sneer. Meanwhile, Piper closed the back door gently.
Marissa: (claps) Camillia, camillia, the latest woman on town living the most extravagant mansion in the world?
Hearing that, Camillia took a few steps forward and snapped. The distance between her and Marissa is now just few feet.
Camillia: Yeah, I’m glad you know I’m the latest lady in town. I hope you didn’t almost die of envy. What the hell are you doing in my extravagant mansion, pauper? Oh, sorry, that was a mistake. I shouldn’t have called you that, because all I see is a pauper coming to my extravagant mansion to beg for money with your… dog.
Angered by her words, Marissa roared.
Marissa: AHHHH!!!! CAMILLIA!!!!.
She grasped one of Piper’s axes from its holster and stomped her foot in anger. Camillia’s eyes flashed fearlessly.
Camillia: What’re you gonna do, loser?
Marissa’s fury intensified at Camillia’s question. Blinded by rage, she pounced on Camillia, and they crashed to the ground, Marissa on top. She began to slash at Camillia’s face, snorting in anger. Claire stumbled backward in terror, her eyes wide with shock, as Camillia’s bag slipped from her hand.
Marrissa: Don’t-ever-call-me-a-pauper-again, you ungrateful being. Don’t! Don’t ever!
As she slashed Camillia’s face in rage, blood splashed onto her own face, staining her bosom and gown. Piper’s jaw dropped in shock; she couldn’t believe her eyes. She had seen her boss get furious many times before, but never like this. Despite being taken aback, Piper found the bloody sight thrilling – unlike anything she had ever seen. It triggered a sense of satisfaction within her as she stood and watched Marissa mutilate Camillia’s face with the axe, believing Camillia was a headache. Each slash brought Piper a twisted pleasure, causing her to clasp her leg and cross her arms over her shoulders.
Piper: Oh, yes, Boss. You can do better than that. Deeper, yeah. Ohhhh!
Piper moaned, slowly closing her eyes as she noticed Claire video recording Marissa, who was mutilating Camillia’s face. Blood flowed profusely from Camillia’s wounds, and Marissa’s gown was now soaked in blood, pooling on the floor. Claire’s body trembled, her eyes fixed on the horrific scene as she held her phone in terror, paralyzed by the gruesome sight.
Piper: Hmph!
Piper snorted, her pleasure vanishing instantly, as she pulled her other axe from the holster and hurled it at Claire. The axe spun through the air, deeply penetrating Claire’s forehead. The impact sent Claire stumbling backward before she fell heavily to the ground, landing flat on her back. Blood oozed from the wound, and her eyes remained open, frozen in shock. Her phone slipped from her hand, falling to the ground.
Piper: YES!!! I knew I wouldn’t miss that.
Piper yelled in triumph, spreading her hands in the air with a satisfied smile. She then walked past Marissa, who is still brutally attacking the lifeless Camillia, and forcibly pulled her axe from Claire’s forehead. At that moment, Marissa stood over Camillia’s corpse, her legs opposite the body, and gazed in Piper’s direction. Piper quickly noticed Marissa’s heavy breathing.
Piper: Are you… okay, boss?
.Marissa: I’m satisfied. Nice hit, Piper. Now, let’s get going. I feel like I’m drenched in a pile of shit with this scum’s blood on my body.
.Piper: (jumps, arching her back) YES! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!
.Marissa: F**k it! This wasn’t the plan, but I’m satisfied with sending this… ungrateful being to the afterlife. Don’t start celebrating yet, check her assistant’s P.A. to see if she has anything she might use against us.
As soon as she said that, piper crushed Claire’s phone in her hand to the ground together with her hand, using her hard heel, which landed with a loud ‘CRACK’.
Marissa: Great! She crush… (sigh) Never mind. Is there any set of clothes I can change into in the car?
.Piper: Yes, boss. Always!
.Marissa: I need to take this shit off me and change into something new. Ahh, gross!
Marissa spoke with disgust and walked towards her car, while Piper rushed to open the back trunk. She pulled out a luggage from beneath the backseat and opened it, revealing an extra set of fine clothes. Seeing this, a smile spread across Marissa’s face. Piper stood aside, observing the surroundings, while Marissa cleaned up and changed into a new outfit: a long, dark coat, turtleneck, blue jeans, and heels, topped off with sunglasses. A minute later, the car engine roared to life, and they drove out of the compound.
*{Lorenzo’s house}
“SMACK”, “SMACK”, “SMACK”, “SMACK”, “SMACK”
“Mmm mmhmm”, “Mmm mmhmm”, “Mmm mmhmm”
Lorenzo’s waist moves in a fast, rhythmic motion, thrusting from behind Bao, as her moans and the sounds of their flesh colliding fill the room uncontrollaby. And It’s been over 20 minutes they’ve been bonking like wild dogs. Thrusting Into her, he observe her waist curve suddenly, her walls gripping him sensationally with her butts drew closer tight to his waist. Allowing his length filling her completely, he sensed her come onto him. The sensation that surged through him of feeling her orgasming on him was highly sensitive and arousing. It added a layer of pleasure to the pressure of his phallus, making him slow down at first. But then, he continues thrusting her, his thrust grew faster and deeper by the minutes, as he tilt his face up. He grunts, his brain amplifying the sensation.
Lorenzo: O-ohh, yes. Ahh, yes. Ohh… baby.
.Bao: Uhhh, uhhh, uhhh, uhhh, Mmmhmm.
Bao moaned, heightened by pleasure with her eyes closed, mouth opened. Her arched body trembles with each thrust, her b***s on her chest jiggles up and down in quick motions, her lung burning as she struggles to catch her breath. Even her face twitched. Lorenzo, holding her slim hands behind her, her buttocks vibrated with each thrust, as he moved his waist against her, creating loud, slapping sounds. Sweats trickles from she and her partner’s body as If rain drizzles on them, followed by a ragged breathing that never ceased to escaped their mouth. Even in the heat of their moment, the bed began to make squeaky sounds as they bonk wildly.
Bao felt so lost in the moment, unable to think straight, as the only thing that mattered to her was her craving for a faster and deeper thrust, despite Lorenzo reaching the deepest point of her v****a. Each passing deep and fast thrust of him sent her waves of pleasure, making her want him even more, prompting loud moans that filled the room. And his thrust grew faster and deeper, than she ever imagined, making her to roll her eyes for seconds and shiver all over her spine. In that moment, Lorenzo stopped moving his waist at such a rapid pace and released her hands. As he released her hands, she heaved a sigh of relief, and went down on all fours, panting heavily. Then, she felt Lorenzo’s palm on her waist, still inside her, as he continued thrusting wildly, delving as deep as he could.
After a few more strokes, he reached the peak of climax and delved deeper, his length filling her completely, stretching her to her limits. He groaned, falling on her back.
Lorenzo: Ahhh, I’m about to….
.Boa: Mmm-Mhmm.
Bao moaned, her trembling voice barely audible as Lorenzo’s final thrusts sent her shivering over the edge. As he ejaculated, his phallus quivered inside her for a few fleeting seconds. Then, she collapsed onto the bed, gasping for air, with Lorenzo’s weight on her back and his phallus still nestled inside her. Instantly, identical smiles spread across their faces. Soon, they broke apart, still panting, facing up stark n***d.
Lorenzo: God, that was… super amazing!
.Bao: Yes, it was!
.Lorenzo: Actually, you’re so amazing. I’ve never felt happier than I do right now.
.Bao: (smiling) Me too. That was fun and… Intense. Oh, no! Tell me you didn’t release your spurt inside me, did you?
Bao asked, turning her gaze at him, narrowing her eyes with no smile. Lorenzo who already comprehend the depth of her statement and her expression that reveals seriousness, raises an eyebrow and sigh, sound sincere.
Lorenzo: F**k! I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to… I couldn’t control myself…
.Bao: (singsong) Because I can feel your orgasm dripping between my thighs. Hold yourself responsible if I get pregnant. (Giggles) Either way, I love it. And I love you too. Thanks for making me feel desired and loved.
Bao gazed at him with a hint of affection in her eyes as she snuggled close, her eyes locked on his narrowed gaze. Lorenzo gently held her chin, raising her face slightly, and dropped a soft kiss on her slim lips, their faces inches apart.
The two snuggled close to each other, feeling the warmth of their skins, followed by a soft gasp of comfort and relaxation. Lorenzo grasp the duvet of the bed in between his toes and pull it over their legs, he caught it and cover their n***d body with it. As he did that, Bao teased him, feeling his heart thuddering in his heart.
Bao: I bet I got you into suspense when I asked you that question.
.Lorenzo: A suspense that quickly remind me sperms produces babies, which told me to get prepared to become a father. My heart beats at first. So, yeah!
Lorenzo said, and Bao laughed at his humorous statement, holding onto his body even tighter, as if she wanted to meld into him. Shortly after, he joined in, laughing together with her. He wrapped his arms around her more tightly, feeling the warmth of her skin and her b*****s snug against his chest. In that moment, she is his only comfort, hope, and happiness. As their laughter subsided, they transitioned into further conversation.
Bao: (smiling) Are you afraid of becoming a father?
.Lorenzo: Oh, no! Should I? In fact, I’ll be so happy to become a father… some days if I’m graced.
.Bao: Hold it there! You’re full of grace already to become whoever you want to be. ‘If I’m graced’, I don’t want to hear that words again. Please! (lifts her head, looking at him)
.Lorenzo: Copy, beauty!
.Bao: (sigh) I feel much better now (rest her head back)
.Lorenzo: Glad! (exhales, continue) I mean, every men feels happy to become a father when their baby is coming to the world. Who wouldn’t feel happy?
.Bao: Only few feels happy as far as I’m concerned!
.Lorenzo: Well, I’m not one of those. But I do know that a baby is a precious gift that brings immense joy and happiness. It’s a treasure to be cherished, loved, and cared for. Becoming a father comes with lots of responsibilities, and I’m aware of that. Although I’m not a father yet, I was raised by a father who worked really hard to provide for me and my sister. I vividly remember the challenges he faced before his demise. Despite those difficulties, he loved and cared for us deeply. As for me, I want my child to have the best life possible, one that I didn’t have when I was young. The most important aspect is allowing them to live a disciplined life. If my child comes from you, I’ll ensure they have the life I want for them, but not one of struggle. That’s why I’ll do everything in my power to make sure the mother and child are safe and far from danger.
Lorenzo spoke with sincerity, his eyes shining with genuine emotion. His words deeply touched Bao’s heart, as she hadn’t expected such kindness from him, showing he’d make a good father when the time comes. She finds its surprising that a guy like him have such good vision for his unborn children, despite being a gangster. Unlike some gangsters who might want their kids to follow in their footsteps for reasons like power, quick money, and protection, but someone like him doesn’t want that lifestyle for his kids. Even though he didn’t choose to be a gangster himself.
And she believed every last word he said. What convinced her was the sincerity etched in his eyes. Besides, she had always trusted him, believing he was honest and true to his word. He was also caring and protective, qualities that made her love him even more. His words filled her heart, prompting her to plant a kiss on his lips as she gazed at him with delight. However, her smile slowly faded as memories of the past moment resurfaced.
Lorenzo: Hey, what’s with the look? You look
Lorenzo asked, his voice laced with concern, as he gently held her chin and gazed into her eyes.
Bao: My father!
Bao answered, her voice melancholic, as she turned her back against him, resting her head on his biceps. She continued, her eyes instantly welling up with tears.
Bao: I can’t… (sighs) I’m struggling to get him out of my head, Lorenzo. The way blood poured out of his mouth after he was shot in the back. It… It haunts me. I just can’t shake the memory.
.Lorenzo: I’m so sorry about that. He was a good man!
.Bao: I’m going to miss him… so much.
Bao spoke melancholically, rubbing away the tears that had welled up in her eyes, sniffing. Seeing how grievous she was, Lorenzo spooned her, savoring the warmth of her form, the duvet covering them from the waist down. Lorenzo laid a gentle kiss on her neck and exhaled heavily.
Lorenzo: His memory will forever be cherished, a testament to a good man he was. Everything will be fine!
.Bao: Having you by my side only make everything okay.
.Lorenzo: (sigh) Bao…
.Bao: I understand you’re concerned about my safety. But you’re also giving me concern. I’ve just lost my father too, Lorenzo. I’ve no family to stay with.
.Lorenzo: But, what about your aunt in….?
.Bao: She died from a car accident before my mother’s demise. Earlier, I couldn’t tell you because of how restless I was concerning you.
Bao turned herself around and faced him, looking at him intently in the eyes, with her arms folded
Bao: I’m afraid of losing you too. This organization you’re in is very dangerous. And you know what trouble it can land you into. They can take your life anytime. Even if it didn’t come from the organization, it can happen from elsewhere, from your rivals. You’re all I have left, Lorenzo. I can’t bear the thought of losing you too. I… I… I…
Bao’s voice skipped a beat as she tried to find the right words, but Lorenzo pulled her into an embrace, kissing her on the head and saying.
Lorenzo: Hey, hey, hey! You won’t lose me. And I won’t lose you too.
.Bao: Can’t we just escape and begin a new life together?
.Lorenzo: (gentle voice) Do you think I haven’t thought about it? … If I leave the organization and sprint with you, it’d cost our life on the run forever. Besides, with the organization’s connections everywhere, it’s only a matter of time before we get caught…
.Bao: (getting frustrated) What differences does it makes If I run from the organization with or without you? I don’t see any differences.
.Lorenzo: Listen! How do I say this? As a non-member of the organization, if you flee or leave this country, it’s only a matter of time before the organization catches up with you. They’ll try, but they won’t succeed, because I’ll do everything in my power to ensure your safety, as I’ve promised. However, your father owes my superior a substantial amount of money, but he won’t go to such great lengths to send the entire organization after you when other pressing matters arise. He’ll have no choice but to give up. Still, I shouldn’t underestimate him, as he’s tenacious. Unlike me, if I were to betray the organization, they wouldn’t stop pursuing me until I’m caught, no matter where I hide. And the worst part is that my loved ones would suffer greatly because of me. If anyone dies, I’d feel responsible
.Bao: You’re not going to be a member forever, are you?
Bao asked anxiously, pondering his statements to herself. Asked with a question, Lorenzo sigh.
Lorenzo: No, it’s not forever… I never wanted any of this to happen, especially now that we’ve confessed our feelings to each other. We’re supposed to be sharing beautiful moments together.
.Bao: It’s okay, Lorenzo. I don’t blame you.
.Lorenzo: I did. If I hadn’t gone to the club that night, I presume all this wouldn’t have been happening by now.
.Bao: Cut it off! You don’t blame yourself over something you didn’t do. Besides, it’s not as if we’re breaking up or something, are we?
Bao asked, adjusting herself slightly and looking at him intently with intention in her eyes. Looking her straight in the eye, Lorenzo knew she wasn’t fine with the idea of leaving him, but he believed it was for their own good. He caressed her neck affectionately, and as he did, she held his wrist without breaking eye contact. Lorenzo leaned in and kissed her lips for a few seconds, pressing his face against hers sympathetically. Then, he gently flicked her hair over her earlobe, still caressing her neck as he spoke softly.
Lorenzo: I love you so much, Bao. And I promise to always check on you even if it cost a million dollar to do that.
.Bao: (smile) Uh-huh! I’ll remember you said that too.
Hearing that, they both giggled at once, caressing each other’s faces. In that moment, Lorenzo’s face lit up.
Bao: That look of yours leaves me curious.
.Lorenzo: There’s no need for you to go to china anymore
.Bao: What? Do you have something in mind?
.Lorenzo: Something like this prompted my sister, Lucia, to move to Italy. It was actually my idea for her to leave the country, despite her initial hesitation, because I didn’t want to lose her too. Since you no longer need to go to China, you can consider living with her in Italy. I believe Italy is a safe and comfortable place for you to stay.
.Bao: You think she’ll accept me to live with her?
.Lorenzo: Yes! You know she likes you very much, and she’ll be thrilled to see you. I’ll discuss this with her, and we’ll start making arrangements for you to meet her over there. But first, let’s get your beautiful figure outta here. Because I’ve got other germane things to do too.
Lorenzo dropped a kiss on her lips after he got out of bed and sat up, perching lightly on the edge. With his back towards Bao, he stretched his hand and picked his trousers from the other side of the bed, then pulled out his phone. As he paid close attention to his phone, Bao couldn’t help but examine his body, covered in full tattoos, with love and concern etched in her eyes. Then she asked.
Bao: I want to take a shower. Would you like to take a shower too?
.Lorenzo: Yeah, that sound refreshing! Climb on, let’s go for it.
Lorenzo gestured with his head, inviting her onto his back, and she didn’t hesitate to climb on right away, wrapping her slim arms around his neck. He lifted her, standing on his feet, and they chatted heart to heart as they walked into the bathroom, stark n***d.

“CONFESSION”
Omni-pov
According to the Chinese proverb, “knowing the truth brings pain, not knowing brings happiness.” This implies that ignorance can be bliss, while knowledge of the truth can bring discomfort. After discovering the truth, Bao couldn’t deny the fact that the proverb was indeed true. Although she appreciated Lorenzo’s honesty in revealing his membership in the Red Wolves, the same group responsible for her father’s death, the feeling that followed was a torment unlike anything she had ever experienced. She also felt betrayed, as if she had been taken for a fool for trusting someone too much, knowing that people can change at any time. Now, the trust she had for him was broken, and she wondered if she could ever trust anyone in her life again.
Consumed by agony, she rubbed her face, trying to act strong for what was to come. As she headed towards the door in fuming dead silence, Lorenzo, who knew how Bao must have felt about him being a member of the Red Wolves, the deadly gang that had been terrorizing the state – the same gang that took her father’s life and also tried to claim hers. He didn’t care about her feelings towards him, but couldn’t shake off his concern for her own safety. He wouldn’t watch her meet the same fate as her father, even if it was her own decision.
Lorenzo asked sympathetically.
Lorenzo: Where are you off to?
.Bao: Where I go and what I do is none of your f*****g business, punk!
Bao snapped, almost reaching the door without casting a glance at him. Her tone sounded serious, and her actions revealed that she meant every word she spilled. Marveled by her response, Lorenzo felt he couldn’t stand by and watch as she led herself to her own doom. So, Lorenzo rushed to the doorway, positioning himself as an obstacle to prevent her from leaving the house.
Lorenzo: Then, I’m afraid, you’re going nowhere
He said, his tone sympathetic and serious. Bao paused in her walk and looked at him with a furrowed eyebrow, telling him off in a commanding voice.
Bao: That’s not your own decision to make…
.Lorenzo: A decision that wants to lead you to the afterlife… You’re crazy!
.Bao: As If you care, out of my way!
.Lorenzo: Sorry, No!
.Bao: (yells) LORENZO, OUT OF MY WAY, NOW!!!
.LORENZO: DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOUR FATHER…! Do you know what your father did that got him killed? Your father borrowed 9,000 CAD from my superior a few months ago! (sigh) One afternoon, I was at the superior’s villa discussing business when one of our men informed us that the superior had a guest. The superior left me in the villa to attend to the guest in the compound. When I checked to see who it was, I discovered it was your father. That’s when I overheard him telling my superior that your mother was in the hospital and needed urgent surgery. You think I was happy to see your father asking for help from my superior, knowing the risks? I was frustrated with him for having the courage to come to a gangster’s home for help, knowing my superior doesn’t lend money without 100% interest. As much as I hated the idea, what if it was the only way to save your mother? He was lucky to have found favor with my superior, who didn’t force him to join our organization to repay the debt. Since I was close to the superior, I witnessed several instances where your father received threats for not repaying the loan. Four weeks ago, my superior ordered my partner and me to assault your father at your house and bring you to his territory. He planned to use you as a s*x worker. I wasn’t going to let that happen. I was prepared to risk my partner’s life to keep you and your father safe. However, things got complicated, and I was apprehended and locked in a cell for four weeks. Luckily, I was released today. Earlier, I was driving back from the police station when I almost hit you with my car. ‘As if I care’, Why would I risk my life for you and your father? Tell me! ‘As if I care’, why did I retreat from you? Because I wanted you safe. I didn’t want my lifestyle to put you and those I care about in harm’s way.
Lorenzo said, his voice intense as they maintained eye contact. Bao would have loved to doubt him, but some part of his statement resonated with her; she couldn’t help but reason within herself. Looking back at what had happened in the past, she couldn’t forget her father’s reaction when she caught him packing his luggage at home. His expression had hinted that something was amiss, but he wouldn’t let on.
Meanwhile, he had borrowed money from the hands of the deadly gang that had been terrorizing the city for months. She couldn’t help but wonder why he would have made such a reckless decision, borrowing money from a perilous gang. As he knew, lending from gangs is nothing but a nightmare. Bao seethed with anger at her father for taking such a dangerous risk, which ultimately cost him his life. With banks everywhere offering loans, Bao felt it was incredibly foolish of him.
Now, she understood why her father had wanted them to evacuate the city. She also understood that he had been trying to save their family, but she couldn’t help wondering why he had turned to the perilous gang. Overwhelmed with pain and anger, she didn’t care to think about Lorenzo’s reasons for staying away from her; her expression remained stoic. Although she knew Lorenzo was right, she pretended indifference, rolling her eyes as she tried to brush past him.
In that moment, she craved only loneliness to process everything. But Lorenzo grasped her upper arms and gently pulled her back against his chest. Bao gasped softly and measured him with a fleeting glance before looking up at his face.
Lorenzo: Why can’t you understand that?
Lorenzo asked, sighing. Bao ignored him and tried to walk past him, but she was stopped again.
Lorenzo: I know you hate me now, Bao. I’m only asking you for one thing: please, don’t go.
His voice became soft as he asked her, looking at her with sympathetic eyes. Bao scoffed inwardly at his statement, which made her feel like she hated him. As far as she knew, there was a difference between not wanting him around and despising him.
Bao: Leave me! Don’t ever touch me again.
She growled, her hostility shocking Lorenzo. He had never seen her act so hostile before, ever since he had known her, as she gave him a dour expression. So, he let go of her as she passed him by. Despite her hostility towards him, he couldn’t shake off his concern for her. He knew that no matter where she ran or hid, his own people wouldn’t stop until they caught her. He couldn’t bear to watch that happen to her. So, he reached out to grab her hand, pulling her back. As he pulled her, Bao lashed out at him, trying to hit his hand away from hers.
Bao: Why can’t you just leave me alone?
To her surprise, Lorenzo held her other hand and pinned it behind her back. Then, he dropped a deep kiss on her lips. At first, she struggled to break free from the kiss, as she hadn’t expected it to happen, but she soon succumbed to it. For a moment, they stood like that, their lips locked. And as if they had yearned for each other’s lips for a long time, Bao broke free from his grip, and Lorenzo slipped his hand inside her blouse to hold her waist. They began to kiss each other hungrily. Bao locked his head with her slim hands and soon moved her hands beneath his clothes, raising his shirt. Their mouths moved passionately, accompanied by ragged breathing.
Within a matter of seconds, she undressed Lorenzo, leaving only his trousers on his waist, while her hourglass figure was exposed, except for her bra and skirt. Lorenzo also undressed her. Then, Lorenzo moved his lips from hers to graze her neck with fast and soft kisses. She arched her back, placing her hands on his shoulders.
Bao: Uhh
She moaned softly, closing her eyes. She couldn’t understand how she had mustered the audacity to surrender her body, as it grew warmer and her breathing heavier. Yet, she felt no guilt within herself regarding what she was doing. Lorenzo didn’t bother with anything else as he lavished attention on her bosom and neck, also reveling in the warmth of her smooth, tan skin. In that moment, nothing mattered to him except the moment they were sharing. He was savoring every bit of it. He traced his wet tongue from her cleavage up to her chin, gently circling it with a soft lick. Bao tilted her head back, allowing him to explore her as long as they both desired, until he eventually loosened her bra
As he did that, her heart raced. Despite being swept away by desire, she couldn’t help but wonder: Is she truly going to let Lorenzo see her b*****s? B*****s no man had ever seen since she reached adolescence. She felt her bra being pulled away from her skin. Lorenzo, seemingly oblivious to her apprehensions, pulled her bra halfway down and lavished a desirous kiss on her lips while he pulled his trousers down, revealing his erect phallus, bulging in his underwear.
Soon, he abandoned her lips and traced his desirous tongue from her chin down to her bosom. As he did so, he pulled back Bao’s bra with his chin, freeing himself from his trousers. His hard phallus immediately grabbed Bao’s attention. For a moment, the size of Bao’s b*****s fully came into focus. Then, he looked at Bao’s face, whose eyes had fallen on his hard phallus before meeting his gaze. He pulled her closer into his arms, cupping her cheek, while she rested her palms on his shoulders.
Seeing her face made him yearn for her more, and he claimed her lips in a tender kiss. This time, it felt like a fresh start. Unlike the wild kiss and body exploration before, they began to kiss slowly and gently as Lorenzo slipped his hand under her skirt, slowly tracing the curve of her slim thighs. The sensation that surged through her as she felt Lorenzo’s hands on her thighs was unlike anything she’d felt before; it made her shiver intensely. Then, she felt Lorenzo’s fingers on her panties under her skirt as he tried to roll them down. As he tried to pull them down, Bao broke their kiss, holding his hand in her skirt.
Bao: I don’t think I’m ready to do this now.
Bao said suddenly, stopping him from continuing. Their eyes locked in a longing gaze. Words couldn’t express how dejected he felt after hearing that. As much as he craved her body, he respected her decision and couldn’t deprive her of her own choice.
Lorenzo: F**k it!
He muttered, her statement turned him off completely. Then he said, looking into her eyes.
Lorenzo: But please, tell me to my face you won’t leave..
.Bao: I won’t leave if you tell me what I need to know
Bao retorted with a serious look, and she released him, covering her chest from further exposure. Shyness was written all over her face.
Lorenzo: Uh, I’ll excuse you now..
Lorenzo blurted, noticing her reaction, and quickly picked up the clothes from the floor. He rushed to the next room to dress. Meanwhile, Bao swiftly put on her bra, struggling to hook it behind her back.
Bao: Might need a little help here
She requested, and Lorenzo emerged from her room, tightening the rope of his trousers as he walked towards her, her back facing his direction. As he took hold of her bra, he hooked it behind her easily, admiring her tanned skin. Instantly, he felt his lips craving a kiss, seeing her skin. But he shook off the feeling, saying.
Lorenzo: Done!
.Bao: Thanks!
Bao answered, showing gratitude, and put on her blouse while Lorenzo cleaned up the shattered glass cup off the floor. Minutes later, he came out of the kitchen with two glasses of water. Bao was already sitting in the living room, steeping her fingers together with her elbows on her thighs. She was lost in thought as he sat next to her, setting the glasses of water on a table in front of them.
Bao: Why’d you join?
.Lorenzo: What?
.Bao: Why’d you join the Red wolves? You know how dangerous they are. What made you join?
Bao asked in a scornful tone, looking Lorenzo straight in the face. But Lorenzo fell silent after hearing her question.
Lorenzo: ??
.Bao: Please, answer me, Lorenzo! I’m talking to you.
Bao demanded politely, craving an answer. Lorenzo leaped up, saying.
Lorenzo: Fine! I was forced. One quiet night, two casual friends of mine and I were returning from a club when we stumbled upon some of the first members of the Red Wolves by the side of the road. They were next to their car when they suddenly stopped us. To our horror, one of them was sexually assaulting a lady behind the trunk of their car. We soon discovered that the victim was my friend’s sister. At that time, the Red Wolves weren’t as numerous as they are today. Enraged by what he saw, my friend tried to fight the assailant but was stabbed multiple times in the neck. He succumbed to his injuries, followed by his sister, who was shot in the head immediately after being raped. The horrific sight of the siblings’ death made my other friend and me plead for our lives, forcing us to promise to do their bidding to avoid being killed. The men spared our lives but handed us a bag containing two pounds of cocaine to deliver as a test run that same night. They threatened to kill us if we tried to outsmart them. This continued for months with new tasks and deliveries of drugs. We weren’t paid for our troubles, which put our lives at risk countless times. However, I quickly learned the drug business and began to excel, making a lot of money. The Red Wolves took notice of my success and manipulated me into joining their gang. Despite seeing the potential benefits, I rejected their offer. I believe their plan was to use me for their selfish interests, as they also worked for the superior and had given my partner and me tasks to complete. They threatened to kill my sister if I didn’t comply. I did it to protect her, as she’s the only family I have. It doesn’t matter right now. What matters is your safety
.Bao: How could you say it doesn’t matter?
Bao asked, feeling unhappy and dejected, and stormed into a guest room. Lorenzo tried to stop her, but she was already gone. He wondered if he had said something wrong. He had explained why he joined the Red Wolves. Why is she being hostile all of a sudden? Is there something else that mattered more to her than her own safety
For a moment, he couldn’t help but wonder. Then, he walked into the guest room and found her standing with her back to him, her arms folded. Despite her modest attire, the view of her back was utterly captivating, and her dark hair only added to her allure. Lorenzo had always admired slender and eclectic styles, and his eyes locked onto her in an admiring gaze. As much as he respected her decision, he couldn’t help but feel drawn to her. He wrapped his arms around her from behind, and Bao shivered initially at his touch. Then, she looked downward, her face filling with emotion, and began to express her thoughts.
Bao: Honestly, I feel sorry for what happened and what you’ve been through, Lorenzo. Now that I understand the situation, I realize it wasn’t entirely fault. However, I’m hurt for the fact you think it doesn’t matter.
.Lorenzo: Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. What matters to me is your safety, Bao. This place isn’t safe for you. If I could remember, you once told me you have a aunt who lives in Beijing, China. Do you have a passport? But, due to what happened, you can’t get back to that house to take it. We might need to get a replacement passport for you. In the meantime, you’ll have to stay some place safer than this place. I know somewhere that’s safer for you to stay. Perhaps, I’ve someone who can also help you with your passport within 48 hrs. She’s trustworthy. So, you could leave the third day…
Bao: What about you?
.Lorenzo: As I said earlier, I’ll be fine. So, don’t worry about me..
.Bao: I can’t just stop worrying about you just because you said you’ll be fine, Lorenzo. I’m angry that you’re downplaying this issue. I’m so worried about you… I don’t want… I don’t want to lose you too…
Bao spoke her fears out in a grave tone, turning around and tilting her face downward slightly. Lorenzo released his hold on her body as she continued.
Bao: Because… I adore you, Lorenzo!
Bao confessed, raising her face and looking him straight in the eyes. Lorenzo’s face lit up after he heard that, and he gently swept her hair behind her ear in a lovely gesture. Without a word, he cupped her cheek, tilted his head to the side, and dropped a soft kiss on her lips. They parted lips, staring into each other’s eyes.
Lorenzo: You’re more than a friend to me, Bao. The truth is, I’ve always adore you and waited for the right moment to tell you. And I’m glad we both share the same mutual feelings. When I became a gangster, I doubted if love could work between us. I had plan to confess my feelings to you after meeting at the club, preparing for what was to come. But after being forced to work with the gangster for months, I realized it couldn’t work. I felt you deserved better than someone like me. Despite that, there’s not a single day I haven’t thought about you, Bao. The only way I could protect the lady from danger was by staying away. And there’s not a day I didn’t regret ghosting you. I adore you, Bao, and I’d do anything in my power to ensure your safety. I promise. Shush, don’t say anything!
Lorenzo spoke affectionately, stopping emotional Bao from talking. Nothing had ever made her feel more emotional than his words of affection, which he poured out to her; she felt it deep within her core. Secretly adoring him had been her top secret for years, but she thought he didn’t share the same mutual feelings for her, believing he was only interested in being friends, unaware that he had loved her all along.
There were countless times she’d been haunted by the sight of seeing him with other girls, making her seethe with jealousy. There were also times she’d crave his love so much, but felt like they were destined to be just friends for life. Bao felt she’d waited too long for him to confess his love for her. Regardless, she felt glad to know he shared the same feelings for her. As happy as she is, she couldn’t help but wonder, why is it that now, when they both needed each other, danger is intervening
As much as she’d like to know, she felt happy knowing his heart. Then, Lorenzo’s lips met hers, erasing her worries with a slow kiss that made her cradle the back of his neck with her slim arms. The rhythm of their heads and lips moved slower than any kiss they’d shared before. The kiss grew deeper and sweeter by the minute as Lorenzo caressed her body in his arms, gently guiding them both onto the bed. With Lorenzo on top, his hands positioned beside her, he grazed her neck with his lips, eliciting sultry moans from her mouth. She arched her back, her neck stretching upward.
Surrendering to his touch and kisses, Lorenzo traced her cradled arms with his right index finger before lowering it to her flat stomach. He slipped his hand inside her blouse, reaching for her firm b*****s. Suddenly, he pulled his hand out of her blouse and stopped entirely.
Bao: What?
She asked gently, looking into each other’s eyes, their faces in close proximity, and wondering why he had stopped.
Lorenzo: Do you want me to stop or keep going?
Lorenzo asked, hoping for a good response. In that moment, his question also reminded her of what she had said earlier. Questioned, Bao fell silent for a while, gazing deeply into his brown eyes as if searching for something. This left Lorenzo in an intense suspense unlike anything he had experienced before. Despite keeping Lorenzo in deep suspense, he was ready for acceptance. In that moment, whatever response she gave was acceptable, as long as they both adored each other deeply.
Eventually, Bao gave him her reply, her emotions evident in her words.
Bao: Keep going, make love to me. I want to feel you inside me.
Her voice was soft but laced with concern as their eyes met. Lorenzo rose to his knees, positioning himself opposite her. He calmly and slowly pulled off his shirt, his movements unhurried despite the thrilling news. Setting his shirt aside on the bed, he discovered Bao had also removed her blouse, lying back with only her bra and skirt remaining. And she bit her lips, examining his abs with concern written on her face. Lorenzo noticed the look on her face, feeling aware. Aware, he quickly understood it might be her first time since he’d never met her with a guy before, aside from him. So, he assured her softly.
Lorenzo: Don’t worry, you’re fine with me. And I promise to be gentle.
Bao nodded, smiling slightly without breaking eye contact with him. Her words of assurance gave her little comfort, and she gasped quietly. Soon, Lorenzo lowered himself on top of her and nuzzled his face into the curves of her neck. Gradually, he grazed his lips down to her abdomen, savoring the scent of her skin. His slow, gentle kisses made her squirm, and she placed her palms on his broad shoulders, feeling the warmth of his breath and the lingering touch of his lips, which sent tingles through her sensitive areas.
As he grazed his lips on her skin, enjoying the scent and warmth, Lorenzo pressed his palm against her waist, then slowly slipped it behind her back. He gently moved upward, licking her skin with his wet tongue, starting from her abdomen to her chin. She arched her back, feeling his tongue, as he loosened her skirt. He gave her chin a gentle bite, sending tingles through her body. Beneath him, her index fingers dug into his back. Lorenzo’s lips met hers, and they began to kiss, their mouths filled with sultry moans and tiny, squishy sounds as they wrestled in slow rhythm.
Suddenly, Lorenzo turned over, falling flat on the bed with her on top of him. His arms locked around her slim waist, and with his free hand, he slips his finger behind her. Soon after, he sat up, holding her on his lap, her lower legs fixed to the bed opposite his waist. He unhooked her bra, then calmly took it off β Her hands raised up in the process. In that moment, her already-loosened skirt fell from her waist, revealing her pant.
As soon as her bra was pulled off, Lorenzo traced patterns on her neck with his palm affectionately. He latched his lips onto her small, round b*****s, s*****g and biting one after the other, drawing sensational moans from her. Bao, feeling his mouth savoring her b*****s with intense sucks and bites, squirmed and arched her back tremendously. She pushed her b*****s toward his head, her hand cradling his shoulder. Feeling the pleasure he was bringing her, she tilted her head back, closing her eyes and m*****g softly as it surged through her body. Her dark long hair cascaded backwards.
Bao: Aah, Lorenzo… y-yes!
.Lorenzo: You taste incredibly sweet!
Lorenzo muttered sensually, savoring her b*****s as he moved from one to the other with desire. Bao moaned continuously, and he enjoyed her body’s response, rhythmically gyrating his wet tongue on her hard tits. He gently turned her over onto her back, and she fell flat, her chest heaving up and down as she gasped. Looking up at the ceiling, a little smile escaped her lips excitedly, but she couldn’t express herself further. Her eyes then fell, glancing at Lorenzo’s 6 inch manhood as he removed his underwear. Though she wasn’t surprised by his size, having seen it before, but felt taken aback by the realization that she would soon have him inside her.
She couldn’t help but wonder what it’d feel like to lose her virginity. As far as she knew, research said s*x hurt the first time, especially if one is inexperienced. Aside from that, she’d also be stark n***d before Lorenzo’s eyes – a thought she couldn’t quite believe. She adored him, but felt shy about him seeing her body. Despite not fully undressed, she could feel his eyes on her, making her look away shyly with a mix of surprise, but also due to the size of Lorenzo’s manhood, now exposed and pointing directly at her.
In that moment, she felt Lorenzo’s fingers on her pants, her heart racing in her chest. Then, slowly, he began to roll them down her thighs, his hands moving gently but surely, until they reached her knees. Bao closed her eyes, gasping, consumed by shyness. Lorenzo carefully removed her pants from her slim legs, his gaze drawn to her intimate area. Lorenzo couldn’t resist laying gentle kisses on her vulva, admiring its neatness, before s*****g her c******s.
Feeling the touch of his lips lingering on her c**t, Bao shudders wildly, her breaths shaky and erratic with her eyes closed. She trembled even more as his tongue teased her sensitive area, holding back the moans that threatened to escape her lips. Clenching the duvet, she squeezed her backside uncontrollably. But the sensation intensified when his tongue delved deeper into her. In that moment, she bit her lip, arching her back, her forehead beading with sweat as he went deeper and deeper. Her labia grips his tongue as she felt him delving non-stop, as if it’s the only thing that gives him comfort.
As he did that, her perineum trembled, and her buttocks squeezed involuntarily. He found it endearing, sending shivers all over her body with his gentle mouthwork. Within seconds, Bao groaned, clutching the duvet so tightly as if she might burst. Her eyes rolled back, and she felt him deeper, his warm tongue sending waves of pleasure. Her voice rose, and she cries out, arching her back.
Bao: Argh… arRRRGHHH!!!
A rush of fluid escaped her urethra, splashing Lorenzo’s face and wetting the duvet as it trickled down. An astonished smile spread across Lorenzo’s lips; he didn’t expected such reaction, especially since he’d only just begun to bring her intense pleasure. She also appeared extremely aroused, with vaginal lubrication indicating the depth of her desire. He fluid slowly drips from her pulsating intimate area, and he couldn’t resist the urge to feel his phallus inside intimate area any longer. He feels drawn to her pink feminine area, and his desire for her grew stronger every seconds.
After her release, Bao collapsed onto her back, gasping for air. Though shyness overtook her, a hint of amusement appears in her eyes. A gentle smile spread across her lips as she gazed up, her chest heaving with each breath.
Lorenzo: Don’t start smiling yet, dear. Things are only just getting better.
Lorenzo’s whispered, rubbing his face. After hearing that, Bao wondered, how could things possibly get better? She was still reeling from the intense release that had left her breathless and disoriented. Her vision was hazy, and she hadn’t even begun to recover. A thrill of anticipation mixed with apprehension coursed through her veins. She sensed that things were about to escalate, and the thought of finally having intercourse with Lorenzo made her heart skip a beat. As Lorenzo gently turned her onto her stomach, Bao’s thoughts vanished, replaced by a sudden surge of curiosity. She wondered if this was the position he intended to take, and her body tensed in anticipation.
But then, her wonderment gave way to astonishment as Lorenzo lifted her into a intimate lap dance s*x position, cradling his neck with her arms. He tenderly cupped and caressed her b*****s, causing her to squirm suddenly before gently stroking other parts of her body.
Next, he carefully raised her by the waist, and slips his phallus between her thighs. Bao’s heart skipped a beat as their bodies aligned, and she felt a shiver run through her as he drew closer and insert his phallus underneath her.Feeling her wet, warm and tight intimate area, Lorenzo held her tight passionately, they both gasped in unison. Their heartbeats racing faster than ever, Lorenzo gently nuzzled his face into the curves of her neck, his fingers tracing gentle patterns on her skin. His lips grazed her shoulder, and he drew closer, his waist moving between her thighs.
Bao: A-ah!
Bao moaned softly, arching her back as he slowly entered her. She wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling him pushing slowly through her vaginal canal. Having a man’s manhood inside her for the first time in her life, felt like her bladder would split in that moment. And the sensation felt painful, accompanied with pleasure as much as she felt hurt. In that moment, she’s mixed with emotions, if she should stop him or not after achieving his first half-way penetration. Again, they both gasps in unison, feeling each other warmth of their skins. For the second time, he drew closer and enters her with more pressure. This time, she felt him deeper than the first penetration, her eyes slowly rolled and closed. Lorenzo couldn’t help but groan in a low voice and gently bit her earlobe as he was slowly being taken by the pleasure of her.
Lorenzo: Owww!
The second penetration made her squirmed, but immediately replaced by love of pleasure. Then, she felt him moving back and forth, his thrust, slowly growing as he strokes her body as he wants.
Bao: Uhhh!
She shivered as the glan of his intimate area meets her cervix inside her. As she felt his glan touch her cervix, she moaned, overcome by a pleasurable sensation and electrifying feelings that surges through her body. She immediately placed two fingers opposite her labia, touching her vulva. As she did that, she achieved a second orgasm, which made her quiver. Her vulva pulsated for seconds, releasing a white fluid, making her pleasure unmistakable β Lorenzo pulled her hands behind her. As Lorenzo pulled her hands behind her, a jolt of electricity ran through her body, as he pushed deeper, his length filling her completely.
In this position, with her back arched and his pulsating phallus continuing moving slowly deep inside her, she experienced intense pleasure. Despite the shallow penetration, her vaginal walls twitches with each thrust, and she struggled to suppress her moans. As pleasure surged through her body, she felt herself becoming wetter, her sensations heightened with each thrust. The sensation was almost overwhelming, her breath catching in her throat. Squishy noises echoes as he thrust into her from behind, her b*****s jiggling with each motion. She continued to feel him deep inside her, wanting to stop for a moment, but the more she wanted that, the more he balls deep.

“INVASION AND EVASION”
Omni-pov
Dundas Street, located in the east-west part of Toronto, the area was bustling like a living entity, as the day hadn’t ended yet and the sun is still shining in the sky. As the street came alive with various activities, a man dressed in an olive green jacket and black trousers, sporting a small grey goatee, could be seen walking at a quick pace along the side of the road, surpassing the movements of others. As he hastened his steps, he cast furtive glances and nearly bumped into a tall brown man. He smiled sheepishly, clasped his hands, and apologized with a gesture, taking note of the stranger’s height. Then, he turned left and entered a narrow passageway between an old building, which led him to the other side.
As he emerged from the corner between the buildings, he encountered some street beggars begging for alms. However, he ignored them and crossed the road to the other side, casting the same furtive glances before entering the compound of a duplex that faced the road, enclosed by a stainless steel aluminum slat fence gate. Then, he burst into his apartment house, loudly calling out a name.
BAO! BAO!! BAO!!!
Noticing there is no response or sound, he rushed to the kitchen and then to two different rooms, calling the same name with serious and troubled intent. However, he saw nobody in the kitchen or the rooms. Troubled by the person’s absence, he pulled out his phone from his pocket, his gaze locked on the screen as he scrolled through it. Doing so, he walked over to the window and cast a furtive glance outside before placing the phone to his ear to make a call.
Seeing there was no response from the person he was calling, he tossed the phone onto one of the old couches in the parlor and then burst into one of the rooms. Shortly after, he emerged from the room restlessly, pulling a luggage behind him. All of a sudden, he paused in what he was doing as he observed and heard footsteps at the entrance of the door.
Alerted by the presence of the unknown, he stepped backward quietly and grabbed a wooden stick from under the couch. As he raised the stick, he fixed his eyes intensely on the door when it opened. A young, slim woman with silky, long hair walked in. She wore a short-sleeved blouse and a long skirt that covered her legs. Pausing in her walk, she asked curiously, her eyes widening in shock.
Bao: You’re back, Father… Father, what happened? Why are you holding a stick?
.Wei: Good heavens, you scared the hell out of me. Did you come alone?
.Bao: Yes..
She attempted to answer, trying to understand what was happening, as she saw the luggage on the table. Her father threw the golf stick aside and bombarded her with a series of questions.
Wei: Why didn’t you answer your phone when I called? Where did you go? Didn’t I tell you not to go out until I got back? Did you think I didn’t have my reasons for saying that?
.Bao: (sighs) I’m sorry, father!
.Wei: Now is not the time for any discussion. Go to your room, pack some of your clothe into the luggage. We’re leaving this city right now.
He blurted out and walked back to his luggage on the table, zipping it properly. Bao followed, asking her father.
Bao: What do you mean we’re leaving this city right now? Where are we going to?
Her father didn’t give her any response as he focused restlessly on what he was doing to the luggage on the table. Seeing how restless her father is, Bao gently placed her palm on his hand, prompting him to stop what he was doing, and he closed his eyes.
Bao: Father, your expression is concerning. What’s going on?
Wei heaved a sigh of relief and looked at his daughter, perplexed by the expression on her face
Wei: (regretfully) I’ve made the biggest mistake of my life, Bao.
.Bao: You’re making me feel worried. Talk to me, father!
.Wei: As much as I’d like to admit, I can’t tell you right now. This isn’t the time to discuss. As soon as we leave this city for a safe place, I promise to tell you whatever you want to know. The most important thing is that we must leave this city right now… So, if I were you, I’d be in my room packing my clothes into the luggage now.
Wei said, returning to what he was doing. Then, Bao rushed into her room to pack some of her clothes into a small luggage. As she was doing that, her eyes met the small framed photo on a metal table. She took it and kissed it, her expression turning to depression before she put it into her luggage. After that, she headed out of her room, only to find her father loading a gun. Seeing that made her even more curious to know what her father is doing with a gun, as she had never seen him with one before.
As much as she felt curious to know what was happening, she stood and watched him in silence as he loaded the gun until he was done. As soon as he was done, he looked in her direction and asked, holstering the gun on his waist behind his back.
Wei: Are you set?
.Bao: Yes, father!
She answered softly and he walked to her, and cup her cheeks with his palm, he said sympathetically, looking into her eyes.
Wei: My daughter… In case anything happens, promise me you’ll take off when I tell you to do so.
.Bao; What’s going to happen?
.Wei: PROMISE ME!! (Sigh) Please, promise me!
.Bao: (sigh) Okay, I promise. But nothing is going to happen. Can we take our leave now?
Wei nodded, smiling wryly, and grabbed his bag. He took a deep breath and spoke confidently.
Wei: Let’s leave! And stay close.
Wei walked to the door and opened it, casting a furtive glance before moving out of the house with Bao, who had noticed his reaction. As they stepped out, two Land Cruisers pulled up in front of their house, making loud screeching sounds that sent some of the people walking on the side of the road fleeing out of harm’s way. The commotion even caused most of the people in the area to scatter like sheep as soon as they noticed the “Red Wolves” inside the cars. Shop, restaurant, and library owners in the area quickly flipped their “Open” signs to “Closed” immediately after witnessing the arrival of the “Red Wolves”.
One of the Red Wolves members made the situation even worse by firing an G36 gun into the air, shouting wildly at the top of his lungs in his native language (Spanish).
Member: Hahaha, cowards! Why are you all running? Why don’t you wait for it?
Then, he lowered his gun towards some of those running for their lives and riddled their legs with bullets in a circular motion, making them fall to the ground regardless of their s*x or race. Meanwhile, other members of the “Red Wolves” invaded Wei’s compound. There were six of them, plus the one outside the gate, causing terror and pain. Unlike the one firing outside the gate, these members were armed with sharp machetes, knives, brass knuckles, and golf sticks, each not to mention their deadly looks that craved blood. One of them stood out, towering at 6’8″ feet tall, and was scarier and deadlier than the others. Their bodies were adorned with tattoos, and they wore their signature attire. Their confident stride showed they were ready to face anything that felt like a threat to them.
As they approached Wei and Bao, Wei turned around, facing his daughter, whose face was already etched with terror. She tried to stay behind him, but Wei embraced his daughter affectionately, as if he had lost her for decades. He whispered into her ear in their native language (Mandarin Chinese).
Wei: Bao, my daughter, I want you to know that everything I’ve done and I’m about to do now, I’ve done it only to save and protect our family. You can call me a foolish father for taking such decisions, but know that my intention was to keep us safe.
He released her body and looked her in the eyes, palming her cheeks compassionately, smiling wryly.
Wei: Now, go inside.
.Bao: N-n-no, father!
Bao disagreed, fear written in her eyes, as she clutched her father’s forearms while they shared eye contact. The gangsters didn’t even pause in their approach, walking closer with confident strides that exuded danger. Seeing the ignorance in his daughter’s eyes, Wei told her off.
Wei: GO INSIDE NOW!
Bao shrunk in terror at her father’s outburst. Left with no choice, she went into the house and clung to the living room window to watch what would happen between her father and the perilous gangsters. To her utmost shock, her father locked their metal door with a strong padlock. Bao hit the window’s bars numerous times, shouting, her voice a mix of fear and anger.
Bao: What are you doing, Father? Father? Father?
.Wei: I’m sorry, daughter!
Meanwhile, the tall gangster, who had already witnessed what happened, ordered one of his men not to look inside the house, as Wei’s daughter was the reason they had come to the house. But it was already too late to stop Wei from preparing for a fight, as one of the gangsters, short and fearless, charged at him with a long, sharp knife. Fiercely, Wei, anticipating the attack, stood his ground, his legs set apart, eyes narrowed, and fists clenched. Then, his eyes caught sight of a chain near the steps leading into their apartment. Feeling it would be enough to defeat his opponent, he quickly picked it up and wrapped it around his right fist.
As the short gangster charged at him snarlingly, attempting to stab him in the shoulder, Wei shifted and weaved, creating an opening for a counterattack between them, as the gangster’s attack wasn’t limited to his arm, but also targeted his torso. Then, Wei struck him on the wrist, sending the knife flying from his hand, followed by a powerful smash to his chest. The impact sent the gangster diving backward to the ground, and Wei assumed a Fudo-dachi stance while the gangster yelped, clutching his chest and coughing blood.
Seeing that their partner had been defeated, the rest charged at Wei, except for the tall gangster. He turned around and answered an incoming call, seemingly unfazed by the chaos unfolding around him, while the others fought against Wei fiercely. The air was filled with the cracking sounds of bones and cries of agony.
As soon as the call was answered, a deep, commanding voice echoed from the phone, belonging to the caller.
Miguel: Does he have my money?
.Tall gangster: (glance at wei) I don’t think so, jefe. Because we met him trying to pack out of the house with his daughter.
.Miguel: Oh, disappointing! The debtor is dodging his debt. What about his daughter? Do you have her?
.Tall gangster: Uh, not yet, Jefe. We’re about to get her now.
.Miguel: Good! And if he serves as an obstacle or threat, kill the motherfucker and bring me his daughter. His daughter will serve as collateral to pay the debt if her father fails.
.Tall gangster: Roger that, bo… !
The boss ended the call before he could complete his statements. Meanwhile, Wei was weaving and ducking around the swinging weapons of the other gangsters. He unleashed powerful hits on their faces, one after another, with his iron fist, causing bruises and swelling. The impact of his punches sent them off guard, and they fell to the ground, blood oozing from their mouths and noses. Teeth and blood were scattered on the floor.
However, the gangsters didn’t stop striking at him, as the only thing they sought was his downfall. Meanwhile, two out of the four gangsters fighting against him lay on the ground, unable to move. One clutched his shoulder, while the other grasped his ribs in anguish.
In a flash of movement, Wei grasped the arms and shoulders of the two undefeated gangsters, lifting them high into the air before slamming them to the ground with a thunderous Seoi Nage. Their weapons flew away. The impact made them arch their backs and yelp in agony, leaving them too weak to stand and fight back. Unbeknownst to Wei, his short gun had already fallen to the ground
As soon as Wei defeated them, excluding the tall gangster and the one outside the gate keeping watch, he rushed to the window to meet Bao, his breathing heavy. Bao, who wasn’t surprised by her father’s impressive fight skills, questioned him immediately, driven by fear and concern.
Bao: Are you okay, father?
.Wei: You must leave now!
.Bao: Wait, what? What about you?
.Wei: Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. Your safety comes first, go now! Use the backyard door, I’ll find you. I prom…
BOOM! BOOM!! BOOM!!!
He paused, coughing up blood for a moment, as he was shot three times in the back by one of the gangsters on the ground. The sound of the gun echoed through the compound. Bao screamed at the top of her lungs as bullets struck her father’s back.
Bao: FATHER! NOOO!!!
.Wei: I’m sorry, daughter… I-I love you… Go now! GO! GOO!!
Wei persuaded his daughter, whose eyes welled up with tears. As much as she didn’t want to leave her father, she had no other option but to leave in a teary hurry. Seeing that his daughter had gone, Wei balled his fist in the chain and turned around to smash. The tall gangster angled his forearm to deflect the incoming punch and stabbed Wei in the stomach. Wei’s eyes widened in disbelief as blood trickled down from his mouth, the tall gangster’s attack causing him more anguish and discomfort than anything he’d experienced in his life.
Tall gangster: Old man, let’s see if you’d find your daughter.
The tall gangster tore Wei’s stomach, exposing his intestines. Wei fell to his knees, shocked and in agony, as blood gushed from his mouth and stomach. He clutched his stomach, desperate to keep his intestines from spilling out. Life drained from Wei, and he succumbed to his injuries, his intestines spilling out. Meanwhile, the two men Wei had slammed to the ground struggled to get up and burst into the house, chasing after Bao. The tall gangster assisted the other two men on the ground, barking orders in a loud, commanding voice.
Tall gangster: Don’t let her escape. And remember the boss wants her alive!!
.Gangster 3: (from inside the house) Copy!!
.Gangster 2: Damn it! She passed through this back door
.Gangster 3: Hurry, hurry! She must not escape!
Bao, on the other hand, is running as fast as she could, casting furtive glances over her shoulder every second to see if she was being chased. But none of the Red Wolves members had appeared behind her yet. Even if they did, she believed she couldn’t be caught easily, as she was already far from home. The distance she had covered was considerable, and it would take a long time before the gangsters could catch up to her.
As she ran through the area, the eyes of the people followed her everywhere, drawn by the commotion caused by the number of people she bumped into along the way. Regardless, she continued running, replaying the scene of her father getting shot, especially the image of blood oozing out of his mouth. The thought of her father’s shot increased the speed of her legs, and she balled her fists as painful tears welled up in her eyes. Overcome with pain and anger, her emotions clouded her judgment. She felt herself moving, but inside, she was lost. Suddenly, she was jolted back to reality by a speeding dodge cahllenge car that swerved to avoid hitting her as she crossed the road to the other side
With no sign of fright, she glanced at the person in the car and the people around her, who were staring at her in disbelief due to her reckless move that had almost gotten her killed. Bao didn’t care about the looks and took a step backward, turning around to get out of the road. As she turned to leave, her name echoed from the same car that had nearly crushed her to death.
“BAO”
The car door opened, and a guy with red tattoos on his face and a band-aid on his nose stepped out, holding the door of his car. Bao paused, turned around, and looked in his direction. In that moment, the people around her, who had been taken aback by the scene where Bao nearly got crushed by the car, began to disperse, Bao voiced out.
Bao: Lorenzo!
.Lorenzo: Where are you off to? Are you okay?
Lorenzo asked sympathetically, but Bao rushed into his car without answering.
Bao: Go, go, go!
Bao persuaded Lorenzo to drive, catching a glimpse of the back direction through the rearview mirror. In no time, Lorenzo took off, bombarding Bao with a series of questions inside the car. Despite being safe in the vehicle, Bao remained restless, refusing to answer any of his questions. Instead, she continued casting furtive glances throughout the ride, urging him to keep driving. Minutes later, their car turned off the road and pulled over in front of a mansion. Soon, the two got out of the car, and Bao scanned the area, still driven by fear.
Locking the door of his car, Lorenzo couldn’t help but wonder what was bothering Bao ever since he picked her up, especially the way she had been casting furtive glances. He knew something was wrong, making her act strangely. But she hadn’t said a word to him. The only thing she had told him in the car, as far as he could remember, was to keep driving. Ever since he had known Bao, she had never acted this strangely, as if someone was out to take her life.
As far as he knew, it seemed too good to be true because Bao was an easy-going person who had actively avoided trouble over the years. Not because she was afraid, but because she had always wanted to stay out of trouble her whole life. Growing up together, he knew her personality well, as they had once lived as neighbors and had been close friends. But everything changed after he became a member of the deadliest gang in the state.
Ever since he joined the gang, he had actively avoided Bao because he felt she didn’t deserve to be associated with a gangster like him, which might put her life in danger. He had accumulated many enemies since becoming a member and feared they could harm him by targeting his loved ones. This was one of the reasons he had kept his distance from Bao, not wanting to endanger her life with his lifestyle. Until they stumbled upon each other again, nearly crushing her to death with his car earlier.
Apart from that, he and his partner had been apprehended after getting into a violent fight with a lady who lived in the condominium next to their house. For the past four weeks, he had been locked in a cell. Thanks to the help of his superior, he was released this noon. Even the car he drove to her house, he had hijacked it just a few meters away from the police station after his release.
Since his release, the only thing he desired was revenge on the lady who had landed him in the cell for a terrible four weeks, without caring about the cause of the violent act between them. Besides, he felt ashamed that a woman could take him down in public. As one of the feared gangsters in the area, it was a huge disgrace for him and the organization, and the news has gone viral.
After locking the door of his car, he took only two steps when his eyes met a lady dressed in a fine multicolored blouse and a mini skirt, getting out of a green Lamborghini Aventador parked right in front of the condo next to his house. Looking at her, he furrowed his eyebrows and ground his teeth, knowing exactly who she was β the friend who had disgraced him in the public disgrace. He believed she is friends with the lady who had humiliated him, as he had seen them together a few months ago, before the altercation.
For some reason, he felt that her friend could be used as a trap to exact his revenge on the lady who had disgraced him. But he’d love to make her suffer for what she did before he eventually kills her. He took his eyes off her and walked into the house, holding Bao with him. As they entered the house, he urged Bao to sit in the parlor while he went into the kitchen to bring her a glass of water. Shortly after, he came out only to find her leaning against the door of the parlor, weeping with her arms crossed over her shoulder while standing β her head hung low.
He felt shocked and stunned to find her weeping, as this was the first time he’d ever seen Bao tear up so intensely. The sound of her cry pierced his heart, and he couldn’t help but throw the glass away, the shattering sound of the glass enveloped, and immediately embrace her. All he could do was console her as she continued weeping, repeatedly saying:
Bao: They shot him, they shot him, they shot him.
.Lorenzo: Who was shot? And who are they?
.Bao: They shot him and I doubt if he’s alive now.
She said, still tearing up. Despite feeling deeply sorry for her, Lorenzo’s curiosity got the better of him, and he needed answers. He felt that understanding what had happened could help him assist her. Why was she running wildly barefooted, almost getting crushed by his car? What was chasing her? Why had she been acting strangely the whole time? What had triggered her tears now? Who got shot? Who was the shooters? And, most pressing of all, where is her father?
As far as he remembered, he knew Wei wouldn’t let his daughter be far from home, regardless of her age. There was no other reason for his overprotectiveness and care except for the violence in the streets that has been happening lately. Moreover, Bao is the only child, and he knew Wei wouldn’t want to lose her, especially after losing her mother a few months ago. Lorenzo felt deeply sorry the day he heard the sad news of her mother’s demise, but he never got to pay his condolences, a regret that still haunted him.
But he felt that whatever he did was to protect Wei’s family, especially Bao. He cared for Bao deeply and didn’t want to be seen with the family, believing that getting close to them would endanger their lives due to his lifestyle. He feared it would consume him with a lifetime of guilt if anything bad happened to the family because of him, or even his own family.
Curious to know what happened, Lorenzo released Bao and gently cupped her cheeks, looking deeply into her eyes. Then, he wiped away her tears, which were streaming down her cheeks, with the tip of his thumb, and asked with concern etched in his eyes.
Lorenzo: Hey, hey! Shush, look at me, Bao. I can see you’re struggling to control your emotions right now. I’m not sure what’s causing the distress, but I’m here with you. I can imagine how painful this must be for you. Don’t be scared, okay? Just take a deep breath and share with me what happened.
Bao took two steps back, making Lorenzo’s hands fall away from her face. Then, she rubbed her eyes, sniffing before taking a deep breath and spilling the story, folding her arms. Lorenzo listened closely.
Bao: This afternoon, my father and I tried to move out of the house when the members of the Red Wolves suddenly invaded our compound, armed with perilous weapons, scaring the hell out of the people in the street. They tried to harm us, but my father got into an intense fight with them, trying to stop them from doing anything stupid. In the process, he was… (pauses, choking back tears) He was shot three times in the back… (breaks down in tears again) The Red Wolves shot him! He must be dead by now…
After hearing that, Lorenzo turned around with great agility, grasped a small flower vase on top of a high table, and smashed it to the floor, letting out a fierce growl.
Lorenzo: F**k!!
Then, he brushed his hair backward with the palm of his hand, his face contorted in anger. Frightened by his sudden reaction, Bao took a few steps backward and asked, struggling to control her tears.
Bao: Are you crazy? You… you got a problem?
Fixing her eyes on him in shock, Lorenzo looked in her direction, his angry expression immediately turning to one of regret.
Bao: Is something wrong?
Bao asked again, more curious and nervous.
Lorenzo: (sighs) I’m sorry, Bao…
.Bao: (rubs her eyes) Sorry for what?
.Lorenzo: Although I didn’t do it, my partner and I were assigned to complete the task. Even if I were responsible, I’d never stoop so low, Bao. In fact, I was ready to risk my own life to ensure your safety and your father’s. I…
Despite his answer, Bao wasn’t convinced, but rather felt bemused, trying to comprehend what he meant, and she asked Interjectedly
Bao: Can you be more specific?
.Lorenzo: I’m a member of the Red wolves
.Bao: Excuse me, come again!
.Lorenzo: (yell) I’M A MEMBER OF THE RED WOLVES, IN FACT, THE LIEUTENANT OF THE GANG!
Bao’s eyes widened with shock and fear. Tears quickly welled up in her eyes and streamed down her cheeks in an instant as she struggled to believe what she had just heard.
Lorenzo: (softly) Bao…
.Bao: Hold it! So, you’re one of them? I should have known this when I saw your tattoos. And I’m here thinking I’m safe the whole time, without knowing you’re a wolf in sheep’s clothing… You know what, I won’t stay here and let you continue to manipulate me, only to meet the same fate as my father. I’m extremely disappointed in you, Lorenzo. From now on, stay away from me. To be frank, I’m beyond caring at this point. I don’t care what happens to me. If my life is taken, at least it’s better than living among wolves like you.
She exclaimed emotionally and turned around, walking towards the door of the parlor. In that moment, the only things that surged through her body were pain, anger and betrayal. And the worst part of it was how dejected she felt, knowing that the person she had laid her trust in, the one she thought was her guardian angel, was actually the devil who had been playing Jesus all along. Ever since she had met Lorenzo, she had put her trust in him completely. Because he was different from any other guy she had ever seen; their friendship hadn’t started overnight. But he had been benevolent to her in every way.
As long as she could remember, he had stood up and defended her when some boy older than her by a few years tried to bully her. Regardless of their age or size, he wasn’t afraid to face them. As far as she knew, he got a black eye that very day because of her. It’s not that she wasn’t capable of fighting to defend herself – she knew a little martial arts – but she had always wanted to stay out of trouble her whole life.
Additionally, he was truthful; he never made false promises. Unlike many other guys, he didn’t make any attempts to woo her. Not even once. And it wasn’t that she wasn’t beautiful – of course, she was, just like her own mother. Or was it her body shape that men often chased after? Her slender figure may not have been particularly showy, but she had the confidence to stand out, unlike many other slender women with straight figures.
Nonetheless, they were intimate, and everything worked out well between them, except for some months when she didn’t see him again. During those months, she was careless because her mother was in a terrible condition, and she eventually lost her. As a result of her mother’s death, she was too grief-stricken to care if anyone checked on her or not. Although she knew Lorenzo wasn’t the one who claimed her father’s life, considering the news that had been traveling across the state about the Red Wolves, he was no worse than the damage the rest of the Red Wolves had caused in the lives of many in the state, as far as she was concerned.

“THE DEPTH OF FEELINGS”
Chloe’s Pov
Presently, I’m in the stretching area, a popular spot for women to rest and stretch after a workout. As I settle in, I’m carefully arranging my valuables into the bag I brought to the gym, paying close attention to every item. Paying close attention to what I am doing, someone approaches me and stands silently in front of me. I don’t let the person’s presence distract me as I concentrate on what I’m doing. The surprising aspect is that the person remains silent until I am finally ready to go.
As I looked up, I realized it was my personal training manager, a short and young-looking man, but older than I am and slightly chiseled in figure. His name is Beckett, but everyone in the center calls him “coach”, including me, except I addresses him as Coach Beckett. He is a jovial and witty person. He is also a strict personal training manager; he doesn’t joke when it comes to whipping someone into shape. Despite that, he is friendly.
Chloe: Oh, coach beckett… ?
.Beckett: Yes! I’m the one, cream of the crop. CrΓ¨mede de la crunch! How’re you doing, Chloe?
.Chloe: Ugh! You’ve asked that a lot today, Coach beckett!
.Beckett: No life imprisonment for asking questions. So, how are you doing today, Chloe?
.Chloe: (sighs) Okay, I’m fine, Coach beckett. Is that what you want to hear?
.Beckett: Nah! There’s a lot more, young woman. Look me in the eyes and lie to my face β you didn’t notice my presence.
I sighed after hearing that. I didn’t know if he was serious or playing; he is right about one thing. I noticed his presence. Even if I was unsure of who it was, I didn’t utter a word.
Beckett: Let me guess, you thought I was one of those guys who’s come to woo you, huh? (raising an eyebrow sneeringly)
.Chloe: (facepalm and sighs) I neither thought nor said that, Coach Beckett… (almost smiling)
.Beckett: Hmm, I see that hiding smile.
.Chloe: (smiling) Okay, you caught me!
.Billie: (chuckles) I always do. Honestly, I’ve really been enjoying working out with you in the gym, Chloe. I’m having a birthday party soon and I’d love for you to come. Here’s the invitation.
He said this in a proposal tone, grinning from ear to ear. Just seconds ago, he was interrogating me, and now he was trying to win me over with his invitation. Men can be so unpredictable. As far as I could remember, I had really been enjoying his company too. However, this is the first time he’d be inviting me to his birthday and it’d be so bad if I turn down the invitation.
Surprisingly, I took the invitation card from him and glanced at it before looking up at him, showing my gratitude.
Chloe: (smiles warmly) I’ll be there. Thanks for thinking of me and including me in your celebration, coach Beckett. I’m honored!
.Beckett: You’re welcome, Chloe! Thanks also for accepting my invitation. It means a lot to me. I’m really looking forward to seeing you there. Have a great day!
He said, walking away. I nodded and took another glance at the invitation card before walking out of the center, holding my duffel bag. As soon as I stepped out, I saw him getting into his car, a Raptor Ranger, in the parking lot. We exchanged waves before he sped off, disappearing from sight. I hopped into my own car and, before long, hit the road, leaving the center miles behind. Before Iong, I hit the road.
Minutes later, I arrived home in my car. As soon as I got to the front of the house, the gate slid open automatically, and I drove into the compound straight to the carport to park carefully. After parking, I got out of the car gently with my duffel bag and headed into the house. Stepping into the house, I didn’t bother to notify anybody in the house about my presence. At that moment, all I wanted was to get to my room and relax. As I walked upstairs, I noticed the parlor. I saw two glass cups on the table, which could only mean one thing: there was someone else in the house.
As far as I know, it’s no one else’s doing but my sister Meadow’s, who is just a year older than me. The house was gifted by my parents as a birthday gift because we were born on the same month and dates, regardless of our age difference. The house was meant for the two of us; however, my sister Meadow often turns it into a hotel, letting her friends sleep over and do as they please. Sometimes, her friends spend a week in the house, going out freely and doing as they please. That doesn’t upset me because I don’t stay at home for too long.
After a week, sometimes a month, I travel for exploration in other African countries, and it’s been fun so far. The annoying aspect about her guests is that they show no regard for anyone, acting as if they own the house. I’ve gotten upset by her friend many times. That reminds me of her – Lauryn! Since we’re not on good terms and rarely discuss anything, I just focus on my own business.
Since I suspected the third person might be Meadow’s friend, I picked up the remote and turned off the TV. I dropped the remote back in its place before turning around to leave. Just then, I noticed a black underwear a little distance away from the guest room door entrance. Slowly, I walked towards it and squatted to pick it up from the floor, examining it. As I did, two more ladies’ panties came into focus: one was at the corner of the wall, and another was hung on the door handle, pink and blue.
As far as I can remember, I’ve caught my sister and her girlfriend making love in the kitchen before, so the sight of their panties isn’t an exception to what they might be doing. However, the sight of the black underwear is my only concern. I wonder if there’s a male in the house too. As I contemplated this, I also noticed that the guest room door was slightly ajar, and soft moans echoed through the door, alerting me to be cautious as I approached.
Quietly, I grasped the door handle and opened it for a clearer view. The soft m*****g voice that had enveloped me earlier grew slightly louder, accompanied by a squeaking sound. As I peeked through the door, I felt taken aback by the explicit sight before me β on the bed. My sister, Meadow, Lauryn, and a guy were engaging in intimate acts on the bed. Meadow had lowered herself onto his face, her legs spread wide, allowing him to explore her intimate area, seeking pleasure. She let out a series of soft moans, tilting her head backward.
Meadow: Mmm…oh God, yes…
Lauryn, on her part, took control. With her head snapped backward, she rode with all-consuming desire, pressing her palms against his chest while the guy lay flat on the bed, comfortably holding her hips and moving them. As he did, he lavished attention on Meadow’s sensitive area, using his mouth to bring her intense pleasure. They were so lost in pleasure that they didn’t even notice I was watching. Aside from the pleasure they were experiencing, sweat dripped from their bodies, and their orgasms were evident. It was clear they had started long before I arrived. Swept up in the pleasure, Lauryn cried out, her voice muffled.
Lauryn: Mmmmm-Uhhhh-ooohhh
In that moment, Lauryn’s frenzied pace gave way to a slower rhythm. As I watched her, she achieved an intense orgasm, and a whitish, visible sign of release trickled out onto her partner’s phallus. Then, she fell onto his body, gasping heavily with a smile spread across her face. Our eyes met, and the smile of satisfaction that had spread across her face faded the moment she saw me. Caught off guard, I quickly walked up to my room, closed the door behind me, and threw my bag onto one of the couches. I then fell flat onto my bed, facing upward, exhaling heavily.
Chloe: Okay, I can do this!
I said confidently, eyes closed, trying to erase everything I saw in the guest room from my mind. Knowing that wouldn’t be enough to clear my mind instantly, I decided to focus on something else that could serve as a distraction. So, I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom, where I had a quick shower. Standing under the showerhead, letting the water pour over my body, helped calm me down instantly. As I stood there, I brushed my hair backward with my palm.
After having a shower, I stepped out, wrapping my towel around my body. Before long, I finished everything that needed to be done. I sat on the bed, focusing my attention on my phone, when I heard a knock on my room door.
Chloe: Come in!
I said, paying close attention to my phone.
Lauryn: Whoa! Your room is magnificent!
As far as I know, the voice I just heard wasn’t how Meadow sounds. Curiously, I raised my face up, only to be stunned by the presence of Lauryn. She wore an oversized, big shirt, and it was the only thing she had on. She stood with her back against the door, examining my room admirably. I doubt if her room is as magnificent as mine.
Chloe: Sorry, what’re you doing in my room?
I asked in a cacophonous voice. Honey, I shouldn’t have asked like that. I don’t particularly like her being around me. Besides, she’s the kind of person who tends to be outgoing, talkative, and energized by social interaction. Also, she doesn’t seem to care about anyone or show any regard. Sometimes, I’d be in the parlor downstairs, watching my favorite channel on TV. All of a sudden, she’d come out of nowhere and change the channel, urging me that it was better than the one I was watching. Who does that? Frustrated, I left the parlor for my room that day because I didn’t want to create a scene. As flirtatious as I am, I don’t like people like her around me. But for some reason, I can’t blame her – we’re just so different from each other.
While still examining the room, she responded with a question, throwing it back at me.
Lauryn: Is that how you say thanks?
I didn’t reply, but my expression alone was enough for her to know I’m not interested in her. Noticing how quiet I was, she chuckled to herself where she stood, then walked over to the bed to perch on it, looking in my direction. She even had the effrontery to sit on my bed. And why was she staring at me like that?
Lauryn: Whoa, you really dislike me so much… Isn’t it?
.Chloe: Look, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Does asking a question now means dislike you or something?
I know it’s rude though.
Lauryn: Then, prove it. Kiss me! (Smiling mischievously)
.Chloe: Why’d I kiss you to prove anything?
.Lauryn: God, you hate me that much?
.Chloe: No, that’s just ridiculous!
I retorted, and she chuckled, locking her gaze on me, licking her lip and biting the side of it, which I quickly noticed. If only she knew how slutty she looked doing that, she wouldn’t do it. It’s disgusting me. Her presence is also beginning to tire me.
Chloe: Yuck! Please, stop it.
.Lauryn: What?
.Chloe: Stop giving me that look. I don’t like it.
.Lauryn: You’re irresistible!
.Chloe: Thank you!
.Lauryn: And you aren’t going to kiss me?
.Chloe: What, no! Look, why’re you here? I was busy when you came into my room.
.Lauryn: Chill out. (sigh) You see, what you saw back in the room meant nothing. I — I won’t speak for Meadow, but for me, it was a meaningless f**k with him.
I folded my arms under my bosom and looked at her for a while before I asked her a question.
Chloe: Okay, why’re you telling me all these?
.Lauryn: I like you!
.Chloe: Okay.. Thank you!
.Lauryn: Like, I love you, Chloe. And I want us to be together.
She confessed, gazing into my eyes. As much as her presence tired me, I was stunned by her confession. Nothing had ever stunned me more than having a woman confess her true love to me for the first time. True love or just love? But the sincerity dancing in her eyes was unlike anything I’d seen before. Though we were on good terms, at least she confessed her love to my face, rather than resorting to some dramatic gesture. Unlike her, Liam had trapped me in his arms and kissed me, thinking that was the only way to express his love, without really knowing me. My instincts told me he loved me, as far as I knew, but that’s not how love works. Aside from being the first woman to confess her love, Lauryn was also the first person to do so.
In my entire life, I’d always felt that I was unlucky, especially with women. Growing up, some of my friends were pursued by romantic interests, starting from high school, and I had thought I wasn’t good enough. Despite feeling attracted to many guys, which sometimes led to infatuation, I assumed that was just the way life was until what happened between me and Liam four weeks ago. That’s when I realized I was wrong about myself. Especially considering Lauryn’s approach, it’s more convincing to know that I’m physically and spiritually fine.
Words couldn’t express how stunned I was after Lauryn’s confession. As I finally gathered my thoughts on what to say, with Lauryn’s eyes locked on me, the door suddenly opened and Meadow walked in, limping. I knew it could be due to the intensity of the moment she had in the room. Their intimate moment must have been intense. Even clutching her thighs together every few seconds, she looked disheveled, with dry sperm on her thighs and face. The surprising aspect was that I could see her body through the sheer bathrobe she wore, as her b*****s and intimate areas were visible. Her entire body was exposed, which had never happened before. She looked like some street slut.
Given the way she burst into my room and the expression on her face, it was clear she needed something urgently
Meadow: Good grief, you’re here! I thought you had gone to the store like you planned earlier? (talking to Lauryn)
.Lauryn: (smirks) Oh, you’ve really underestimated me. Am I really that bad to leave without any underwear? Didn’t you see my underwear where It is?
.Meadow: (fold her arms, clasping her thighs repeatedly) As far as I’m concerned, I did. Last time I checked, you didn’t wear any underwear let alone leggings. Now, you’d better have a good explanation and for the fact you’re not wearing any underwear now.
.Lauryn: Are you babysitting me now or what? Because suddenly you get a little twitchy.
.Meadow: And you’ve been doing what, exactly?
.Lauryn: As you can see, having a good time with Chloe before you barge Into the room like a warthog!
.Meadow: Great! Atleast, everything seems normal here… (examining the bed)
I didn’t utter a word as I watched the two of them exchange words with each other. An unrelated person would have thought they were holding grudges against each other, but that wasn’t true. It was just a light-hearted and humorous exchange of words. They understood each other well. And as for me, I watched them in silence.
Lauryn: I’m not a dog. What do you expect? Oh, Jesus christ! You look like shit.
.Meadow: Yeah, I’ll go and clean up soon. First, I want to search for my phone. I’ve mistakenly misplaced it. Chloe, can I use your phone to call mine?
.Chloe: Sure. Take!
I replied, unlocked my phone, and handed it to her. Then, she looked at Lauryn and said something as they both walked out of my apartment.
Meadow: Lauryn, Logan wants to have words with you. He’s waiting for you downstairs.
.Lauryn: Oh, God. You could’ve said it earlier, girl!
.Meadow: What? It’s not too late to say that, Is it? Besides, you’re not exactly busy with any other things more important than, “having a good time with Chloe”.
.Lauryn: Knock it off!
As soon as they left, I heaved a sigh of relief and lay on the bed with my head on the pillow, facing the ceiling. I felt a sense of comfort and peace in their absence, unlike anything before. Spending time alone in my room is what I enjoy the most, as I’m free to do what I want. Within minutes, Meadow came back into the room to return my phone, holding hers.
Chloe : Thanks!
.Meadow: So… When did you arrived from the gym?
.Chloe: Not quite long.
.Meadow: I hope you had a great time there..
.Chloe: As usual, but Beckett….
.Meadow: (barges in) What did he do to you? Tell me, did he hurt you? Did he touch you? Tell me, Chloe. Let me hire some tough men to go and deal with the bastard, f**k him up in his house. I don’t care if he’s your personal training manager or not.
.Chloe: (sigh) Chill out, Meadow. He did nothing wrong. And stop calling the innocent guy ‘bastard’, please. Okay?
.Meadow: As long as he doesn’t touch my baby sister, he’s not the bastard. But I don’t trust that guy; he’s capable of anything. I’ve seen his training reels on social media, and it looks like he’s exploiting women. He’s clearly taking advantage of them, making them think he’s training them. And I’ve seen videos of him training you too. (gasp) Please, just be careful around him.
.Chloe: I’m always careful. You’re just being overprotective. Beckett isn’t who you think he is. He’s a nice guy.
.Meadow: Is that so? Is ‘Mr. Nice’ written on his forehead? Don’t be blinded by such regards, Chloe. He might be nice; I can’t say, but be careful. By the way, I prepared your favorite food for you after you left for the gym. In case you’re famished, the food is in the kitchen. Now, I’ll leave you to enjoy your privacy. I’ve got to clean up too.
.Chloe: You really need that because you definitely look like shit… (chuckles)
She put her middle finger up and rolled her eyes. Then, she left my room, swaying her hips. I giggled and paid close attention to my phone. Hours later, I decided to get dressed in my best outfit: a multi-colored blouse with a leather mini skirt. It was 2 pm in the afternoon. After dressing, I picked up my small handbag and exited the house, holding my car key. I walked to where my car was parked, got in, started the engine, and drove out, passing Sonte’s street on my way to visit my parents. I hadn’t visited them since I returned from my trip. After the visit, I decided to stop by Sonte’s house, as I couldn’t shake off the feeling of wanting to see what she’d been up to. It had been four weeks since I last saw her, and I had no idea how she’d been doing.
As I reached Sonte’s apartment, I began to hear voices, a sound of struggle, and objects being thrown, followed by the shattering of glasses. Those noises sent a cold chill down my spine as they continued, intensified, and reverberated from inside. Given the way Sontee sounded to me, I instantly became fearful that someone out of her league was trying to hurt her. In that moment, it was the only thought that flooded my mind. Gripped by fear, I frantically swiped through my phone to call the police. That’s when I noticed her door entrance had come into focus. It was open, but not fully.
As I opened the door and entered her apartment, I looked around cautiously and dialed ‘911’ to call the police. I believed that hearing me report the incident would scare off whoever might be assaulting her, and they would flee. But I was wrong; there was no intruder in her apartment. Instead, it was Sontee who had been throwing and smashing objects with her fists the whole time, leading me to think someone was trying to harm her. Before my eyes, Sontee continued throwing and scattering things in her parlor. In a furious rage, her fists turned red. She wore a round-neck crop top with jersey racer shorts; her eyes blazed with fury as she smashed things, as if possessed. Everywhere was a mess. Just then, the operator answered the call, asking.
ECO: 911, what’s your emergency?
I ended the call immediately, stunned by Sonte’s violent outburst. Sontee might be wild, but I had never seen her behave this wildly before. I was even more taken aback when she smashed a small wooden table with her hand, the table breaking and falling apart to the ground β she didn’t flinch. Where did she get such strength from? I widened my eyes in extreme shock. As I stood there in a state of shock and confusion, I couldn’t bear to watch her in pain. So, I called out her name.
Chloe: SONTEE!
She turned around and look at me with blazing eyes, exhaling heavily.
Chloe: Please, stop! Everything will be fine.
As I said that, I walked closer to her, closing the distance between us. Her face twitched, and she burst into silent tears, falling gently to her knees. I threw my bag onto her couch and rushed to meet her. I fell to my knees beside her, cradling her body in my arms, holding her close as she wept. I had never seen Sontee cry before, but seeing her cry evoked a deep feeling of sadness within me. Whatever was making her weep showed how hurt she was. As much as I felt sympathy for Sontee, she smelled so nice, a subtle scent that couldn’t stop me from dropping kisses on her head and sniffing her hair.
As she wept in my arms, I cradled her body closer to myself. Her voice shook with sorrow as I tried to comfort her.
Sontee: I–I miss my families so much
.Chloe: (softly) I understand, sontee. And I’m so sorry about it.
.Sontee: (tearful voice) You… you don’t understand, Chloe.. (rubbed her eyes, sniffling.)
.Chloe: Shh, I do…
.Sontee: Of course, you don’t!
She retorted, snapping her head backward to look at my face, our faces now in close range. Her face was already red, with veins pumping on her forehead; she twitched, trying to hold back her tears. I cupped her tight cheek and poured out words, knowing what it means to lose someone, looking deep into her piercing blue eyes.
Chloe: I’ve lost someone close to me before, so I feel and understand your pain, Sontee.
.Sontee: Oh, someone should… please… bring them back to life. I feel so miserable without them… Chloe, I miss them so much.
She spoke in a trembling voice, tears streaming down her face as she held my forearms. Hearing her words sank deep into my heart, making me feel like I would have brought the dead back to life if I had the power. But the dead are gone, and there’s nothing we can do to change that. I sighed and cradled her body closer in my arms. I said, trying to comfort her.
Chloe: Sontee, I won’t tell you should stop crying. You can cry as much as you want. It is okay. But I’m deeply, deeply sorry for your loss. Losing someone you love is never easy, and I can only imagine the pain you must be feeling right now. Your parents were amazing people who loved and cared for you so much, and their memory will live through you. They’ll always be with you in spirit, guilding and protecting you. You’re not alone in your grief. I’m here for your, and I’ll support you through every step of this difficult journey. Take all the time you need to grieve, to heal, and to remember the good times you shared with your parents. Remember, it’s okay not to be okay really right now. It’s okay to cry, to scream, and to feel overwhelmed. But I also remember that you’re strong, and my you’ll get through this. Your parents would want you to be happy to live a beautiful life and to cherish the memories you have of them. They’d want you to keep moving forward, even when it feels like the hardest thing to do. I’ll be here for you, always.
After finishing my statement, she didn’t stop weeping β I understood her. There’s nobody who’d lose their loved ones and not be in such a state. So, I began to pat her gently in my arms, moving from side to side. As I continued patting her, she stopped weeping, except for sniffing repeatedly. Before I knew it, she had fallen into a deep slumber right in my arms. For minutes, I gazed at her beautiful, peaceful face as she slept soundly and peacefully like a baby without a care in the world. I gently flicked her red hair, which was covering one side of her face, over her earlobe, and I couldn’t help myself but to plant two gentle kisses on her forehead. I don’t want to sound bisexual, but she is irresistible, and I couldn’t ignore the urge to show her affection.
Irresistibly, I planted one last kiss on her forehead. And I quickly noticed how much bigger her b*****s appeared in the top she wore, making her tight-fitting top even more snug. She Isn’t even wearing a bra, except for the crop top, which accentuated the size of her b*****s and n*****s. What’s more surprising is how her teardrop-shaped b*****s had become fuller. Last time we met, they were quite medium in size. I shrugged and pushed the thoughts out of my mind. Besides, it’s her body, and she deserves to feel confident in her own skin.
In that moment, I began to think about how to place her in her room without disturbing her sleep. My eyes fell on her, and I sighed. Getting up, I slowly lifted her in my arms. God, this isn’t right at all. Then, I carried her into her room and placed her gently on the bed; she exhaled softly, still sleeping. I heaved a sigh of relief after that and covered her with the duvet. Then, I turned around to walk away when I noticed two beautiful baby shoes on the dresser near a big flower vase. At first, I became curious about what the baby shoes were doing there. But then, I dismissed the thought and walked out of her room, closing the door quietly behind me.

“EPISODE”
Chloe’s Pov
I’ve been scared by many things in my life, but one of the scariest experiences is being chased by a dog. Unfortunately, I’ve had a bad experience with a dog before. A dog chased and bit me, leaving a lasting impression β but that’s many years ago. Another thing that scares me is being threatened. I believe that fear is a basic human emotion that should be treated with respect. It’s not good to play with people’s feelings or try to intimidate them. Everyone has their own fears, and it’s essential to be understanding and empathetic towards others.
After attending the last nightclub concert at Coda with my friend Sontee, I went home feeling awkward. Looking back, I realize that it wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t answered Liam in the first place. When Liam approached me and made a friendly proposal to dance with him, I quickly accepted. At that moment, I was motivated by the energetic atmosphere of the dancing crowd and the lively songs played during the concert. It’s funny how one decision can lead to a completely different outcome. If only I had said no to Liam, I probably would have avoided that awkward feeling. But I guess that’s all part of the experience.
I took a chance to play matchmaker in what seemed like a love-at-first-sight moment between Sontee and a random guy. We were all having fun, but I’m not sure if they talked or hung out after that. To be honest, I shouldn’t get involved, but the guy was really cute β and those piercing blue eyes were hard to ignore. It would be a shame if Sontee let him slip away.
Liam and I blended into the crowd to dance together on the big dance floor. Normally, I’d just stay idle because I’m shy, especially when it comes to dancing. But with everyone else dancing, I couldn’t help myself – I danced excitedly with Liam, my partner on the dance floor, screaming at the top of our voices. After dancing for hours with Liam, we finally stopped to rest. We sat together, smiling brightly and holding hands. We even leaned each on other, chatting like we were couples. We were both exhausted but happy.
Chloe: (giggles) Oh, that was a blast!
.Liam: Absolutely! But now, I’m feeling aches in my butt. Honestly, I don’t understand why my butt hurts so much. It feels like it’s on fire, Chloe.
Liam made a playful pun, and we both burst out laughing. I leaned my head on his shoulder, enjoying his jokes, and he gently placed his cheek on my head.
Chloe: (still laughing) Hahahaha! What’s the reason? There’s only one reasons why it aches.
.Liam: (drags the word) Okay…
.Chloe: I think I know why your body aches. One reason could be that you’re a first-time dancer. As a beginner, you’re more likely to experience some discomfort or soreness in your buttocks and other muscles. This is because your body isn’t yet accustomed to the new movements and demands of dancing. I presume you’re a first-time dancer, Liam. Right?
.Liam: You’re absolutely right, Chloe!
.Chloe: And I’m glad to know that.
.Liam: The plain truth is that I don’t like dancing at all. You can make fun if you want to, I’m just being honest.
.Chloe: Oh, come on! Why’d I do that? But… what!?
.Liam: Yeah, my dislike for dancing started when I was a kid. In fact, I used to run away from anything related to dancing, including music
.Chloe: You don’t like music, too. Really? Please, what are you?
.Liam: (chuckles) I’m just an ordinary person. I get it. it’s quite surprising β I’m just not into dancing or listening to music. I don’t see anything wrong with that. I’m just being myself. I’m actually a movie buff and prefer going to the gym to relieve boredom rather than dancing.
.Chloe: So, what brought you to the concert, despite not being a fan of dancing and music? If I recall, you were almost dancing like Chris Brown just minutes ago.
.Liam: (chuckles) Funny enough, I’d have just walked away and do what I love best. But since I was feeling delirious, I decided to celebrate and have fun.
He replied, lifting his head off mine, and I tilted my face up close to his, looking deep into his eyes. My head was still resting on his shoulder. He scanned my face and lips as our eyes locked in a close gaze. I realized our bodies were leaning against each other, and I couldn’t help but wonder, what’s happening between us? I couldn’t believe we’d been leaning on each other the whole time β someone I barely knew. We were even holding hands.
Liam: Err.. Sorry, that was a grave mistake… I mean I shouldn’t have…
.Chloe: No! It — it is fine. I should be the one apologizing.
I interrupted, fidgeting with my fingers and clasping my thighs together on the couch, my head hung low. A dead silence enveloped us. I couldn’t help myself; I glanced to my left and giggled. There was nothing that made me giggle more than the “grave mistakes” he’d added to his words, especially the quizzical way he’d said it. God, it was hilarious! Still giggling, I covered my mouth and looked away, trying to compose myself. At that moment, he briefly touched my arm and asked out of curiosity, lifting his hand off me.
Liam: Are you okay, Chloe?
.Chloe: Ahem… why not?
I cleared my throat and answered, barely meeting his gaze. I cleared my throat again. Silence fell between us once more. To reassure him that I was okay and wasn’t having second thoughts about what had happened between us β which, after all, was a mistake β I broke the silence and gestured with my chin towards the lively crowd on the dance floor.
Chloe: Hey! They’re captivating, aren’t they?
.Liam: (smiles) Yeah! From the looks on their faces, it is concise they’re so thrilled to be part of the concert. I mean look at how elated and euphoric they are. Even the energy on the dance floor feels so electric (laughs a little) Hahahaha
.Chloe: (gaze and smiling) What? Oh! Let me guess, you remembered something?
.Liam: Oh, my God. How did you know?
.Chloe: Trust me, Liam. I know such a reaction when I see one. So… can you share what you recalled with me?
.Liam: Sure! I was going to share this with you anyway. But first, promise me you won’t laugh. What I’m about to tell you might sound a bit awkward, but keep in mind it happened many years ago when I was much younger.
.Chloe: Go ahead, Liam. I promise not to make fun of you, I’m being honest.
.Liam: It’s okay if you make fun of me. I’m a bit embarrassed to admit this… One time, when my friends called me to dance at a party at their house, I made a quick escape β literally! I ran out of the house and jumped over the gothic picket fence in their backyard.
.Chloe: (surprise) Seriously? You jumped over the fence? That’s hilarious! I totally get why you’d want to avoid dancing, but you could’ve just said you weren’t interested. No one would’ve forced you to dance!
.Liam: (chuckles) You’re absolutely right, Chloe. But I was just a kid back then. I didn’t have the confidence to speak my mind. Even if the words did cross my mind, who knows if I would’ve had the courage to say them? (sighs) Honestly, Chloe, your words really touched my heart. I was expecting you to tease me after I shared that story, but instead, you offered kindness and understanding.
.Chloe: Hold on! You’re mistaking me for someone else. I promised not to make fun of you, remember? Besides, you were just a kid back then. I wouldn’t dream of judging you for your choices. It’s your story, and you own it.
.Liam: Thanks, Chloe!
.Chloe: Oh, stop it, Liam! (sigh smilingly) God! I had an amazing time.
.Liam: Well, the concert hasn’t ended yet, and there is still time to have amazing moments in your life. Ever since we left the dance floor, I’ve been curious about you. Do you’ve a Ph.d in dance?
.Choice: (smile reflexively) Why do you ask?
.Liam: Because you’re definitely a doctor of moves.
.Chloe: Stop buttering me up, Liam. I’m not that good. What you saw back on the dance floor was just a glimpse of my excitement. It’s definition and scent. Unlike me, you’ve a great rhythm. You were dancing like Michael Jackson himself. I doubted it you weren’t him.
.Liam: Look into my eyes, Chloe! I’m telling you this from the heart. Your dancing is truly mesmerizing. You’ve a real talents for it, you don’t just know that. (Chuckles) I’m not sure what’s more contagious, your smile so your dance moves… either way, I caught it. And I’m still catching it..
He complimented me with genuine sincerity and affectionate attention. His words made my heart flutter as I gazed deeply into his piercing blue eyes, searching for any sign of insincerity but finding none. I couldn’t help but glance to my left once more, shyly, before breaking into a bright smile. I felt my face flush with affection, but all I could feel was gratitude and a sudden thirst for a drink.
Chloe: Um… Thanks so much, Liam… Lβlet’s have a drink!
I said, as I reached for a beer that didn’t belong to me, sitting on the table in front of me. Oddly enough, Liam disagreed.
The next morning, I woke up to find myself in bed, yawning loudly and shielding my face from the sun’s rays streaming through the window. As my vision cleared, my eyes landed on the grey gown I’d worn to the club concert the night before. I wondered, how was I still wearing it? It was a surprise, since I always changed into nightclothes before bed. This was a first.
As I got out of bed, the room’s sight surprised me even more. I knew it wasn’t my room. My room is modern and stylish, with a cohesive color scheme and sleek furniture. But this one was old-fashioned. The shelves were packed with books, and there were old antique decorations and furniture everywhere. The walls had old photos of scholars and philosophers, giving the room a really vintage look. I saw pictures of Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, and other famous thinkers. The room felt like a library or a study, not a bedroom. I wondered whose room this was and how I ended up here.
The room itself showed how studious the person was. I got lost in thought, staring at the photos on the wall and wondering where I’d been all night. As I stood there, my stomach started growling loudly. Just then, I caught the delicious smell of food cooking somewhere. Whoever was cooking, they were really good at it. The more I sniffed the aroma, the hungrier I got. My stomach growled even louder, making me feel like I needed to eat right away.
Out of curiosity, I slowly left the room, closing the door gently behind me. I sneaked glances at the things in the parlor, which had old furniture just like the room I was in. The parlor smelled amazing, like savory chicken, and my mouth started watering. Then, a white guy with a nose mask and a light blue apron came out of the kitchen carrying a big tray with fried chicken. He looked me up and down, but then looked away. Who is this guy? I just stood there, watching him as he put the tray down on the dining table. Then, he turned to me and asked politely in a familiar voice, pulling out a chair.
Liam: Good morning. I’m so glad you’re awake. Please, come and have a seat.
.Chloe: Sorry, please. Who are you? And… Where am I?
I asked him, fidgeting with my fingers and staring at the steaming fried chicken on the dining table. He replied as he headed back into the kitchen, this time with an empty tray.
Liam: Oh, who am I? And where are you? You’ll soon know enough, dear. Okay? Please, have your seat.
As much as I’d like to own an answer, I couldn’t help myself but sit at the front of the chicken on the table, looking at it in a lockful gaze and the unknown guy came out of the kitchen and drop a small tray laden with two cold water, accompanied by two glasscups. To my surprise, it was Liam the whole time.
Liam: I believe you’ve gotten your answers now.
.Chloe: Oh, Liam?
.Liam: Yeah, it is me in the flesh. Seems someone is surprised?
.Chloe: Absolutely… Confused!
Surprisingly, I answered as I found myself staring at his face like he was on TV. The attraction I felt towards him was sudden and unlike anything I’d felt before. My mind wandered, wondering if this was the same Liam I met and chatted with last night at the club. He looked charming and cuter than I remembered. Or was I dreaming? Aside from his enchanting appearance, he had a warm expression and a beautiful smile that drew me in, not to mention the dimples on his cheeks. I realized the disco lights at the club must have hidden his charm. As attracted as I was, I needed some genuine answers from him.
Liam: I know, alright? Don’t get confused. I want you to take a deep breath and chill out… Chill!
.Chloe: (exhales) Phew! Alright, tell me what I must know. How did I end up here?
.Liam: I know you’d ask. Last night, you got drunk and….
.Chloe: And?
.Liam: And I recalled warning you not to take that shot…
.Chloe: And?
.Liam: I brought you to my uncle’s home. This is actually his house.
.Chloe: And?
.Liam: And that’s all. Look Chloe, I understand where this conversation is going, but I assure you, nothing happened between us. I’m not foolish enough to cross that line. Believe me, I would never stoop that low…
I fixed my eyes on him intently, hoping to find any sign that would prove him wrong. But there was nothing I could use against him. All I saw was sincerity in his eyes. Besides, I didn’t feel any discomfort in my body to suggest that his words were false.
Chloe: Do you’ve a spare toothbrush in the house I could use?
I asked and he nodded in an instant.
Liam: Give me a seconds
Liam requested, then walked ahead into the kitchen. In a matter of seconds, he was back with a new toothbrush, carefully handing it over to me.
Liam: Here it is!
.Chloe: (collects it) Thanks, where is the loo here, please?
.Liam: Behind you, the middle door!
.Chloe: Gotcha. Thanks!
A few minutes later, I came out of the loo, cleaning my mouth. Liam was in the kitchen washing dishes, even though he hadn’t eaten yet. Like anyone else, I thought he could have waited to finish eating before washing the dishes. I wondered how people make some decisions. Seeing how busy he was in the kitchen, I snuck in to grab a chicken wing from my plate and took a bite before putting it back. Then, I entered the kitchen.
Chloe: Well done, Liam. I see you’re busy here.
.Liam: Thanks, Chloe. I’m almost finish… (Retorts) Yes! Finally finished! Now, let’s settle Ms. Chloe herself.
I chuckled at his pun as he arranged the dishes carefully in their specific places, perched on the sink, and folded his arms across his chest. He measured me with his eyes for a while.
Chloe: You know, I thought you’d show me where to put the toothbrush or collect it from me. I could’ve just asked where to put it. But then I saw your piercing green eyes on me. That’s making me feel uncomfortable, Liam. Why are you staring… at me like that?
.Liam: I’m sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable… Please, can I have the toothbrush now?
.Chloe: Of course!
I replied, walking up to him and handing the toothbrush over. His eyes seemed to look right through me. From his expression, I could tell there was something on his mind about me that he hadn’t shared yet. As I turned to walk away, he grasped my right arm, sending a shiver down my spine. His grip was tight and sudden. In that moment, I wondered what he was trying to do as my heart raced in my chest.
Liam: Sorry, there is a stain of toothpaste on the side of your mouth. It is just little. I want you to stay calm let me help you you clean it.
He spoke in a gentle voice as he wiped the stain with his thumb, our faces locked in close range. We shared a fleeting eye contact. What began as a brief glance turned into a longer stare, even after I tilted my head down to avoid his eyes. He raised my face by my chin, refusing to break eye contact, as if my eyes were the only thing comforting him. Next, he cupped my cheek with the same hand he had used to clean the dirt from my mouth, caressing it with his thumb, and spoke from his heart.
Liam: Earlier, you asked why was I staring at you like that? Do you want to know why? It is because you’re a vision of loveliness, a true work of art, Chloe.
Hearing that, I became fluttered and speechless. As far as I’m concerned, no one had ever complimented me like that, not even my own parents. I tilted my face down to hide my blushes, but he raised my face and closed the distance between us to lay a kiss on my lips. I must admit, his lips were kissable, the kind any woman could spend a day kissing. But his kiss was one of desire, as if he had been yearning for my lips for a long time.
Overpowered by powerful cravings, he pulled me closer with his arms around my waist in a tight grip, as if his life depended on having my body forever. He pressed his palms against my body. Feeling his hands on me made me squirm, and I was getting lost in his sensational touch and inviting lips. The kiss was sensitive, driven by all-consuming desire. I admit, he was a good kisser, pinning me to himself with his arms as our tongues collided intensely in our mouths. I could barely breathe.
Devouring my lips with kisses, he abandoned them and lowered his head, grazing his lips on my neck and down to my bosom. I felt a tingle down my spine and a sensation of melting, surging through my body. I couldn’t help but arch and press closer to his body, m*****g as I cradled the back of his head with my arms.
Chloe: Oh, Liam…. S-s-stop!
I knew where this was going, but his lips grazing my bosom, down to my cleavage, fueled me with desire in an instant. Heat spread through my body, and even my heart rate and breathing quickened. The sensation surging through me was something I’d never felt before. So, this is what sexual intimacy feels like?
Feeling like I’d melted into his touch, he lowered his head between my b*****s and spent his time stimulating my cleavage with his wet tongue in a circular motion. This made me squirm abruptly for minutes, my eyes closed. Stimulating my cleavage was overheating and overwhelming, adding a layer of pleasure to what I was already feeling. As he continued, I felt heightened by intense, pleasurable sensations spreading through my body, accompanied by a tingling sensation. The unfamiliar feelings were overwhelming, yet exhilarating.
My muscles contracted, my heart was racing, and my breath was accelerating. I couldn’t think straight, only concentrating on the sensation. My head was covered in beads of sweat as I felt a sudden buildup in my genitals. I found myself groaning, overcome by the intensity of the moment.
Chloe: Oh my God, oh my God!As I approach orgasm, Liam didn’t stop or pause. It felt like a surge of information was flowing though my b*****s to my genitals, preparing me to for what was to come. I gripped him tightly as I experienced my first orgasm. My sensitive area quivered intensely, and my legs trembled, feeling like they’d collapse. I leaned on Liam, who was still busy kissing my cleavage with his tongue. I felt lightheaded from the orgasm I had. Achieving orgasm for the first time should be exciting, but instead, I feel regret and shame. God! What just happened?
Liam: Stop, Liam!
I growled, pushed Liam, and walked out of the kitchen. As I left, I felt wetness in my pants from the intense orgasm. I walked out In anxiety, Liam followed, asking me what was wrong. I stopped, turned around, and looked at him with a upset expression.
Liam: Wait up, Chloe! Are you… are you okay?
.Chloe: What’s with the romeo action in the kitchen? Trying to sweep me off ny feets or something?
.Liam: Chloe… (paused)
He paused, let out a soft sigh, and hung his head low for a moment. Then, he looked me straight in the eye. He seemed to know he’d done something wrong and stood there, speechless and unable to explain himself. I demanded my car key in an unfriendly tone.
Chloe: Okay, Liam. I believe you brought me in my own car…
.
Liam: Yeah. But please, Listen…
.Chloe: Liam, where is my car key? I need my car key now!
.Liam: It is right there. But please, you’ve to…
.Chloe: Thank you!
I retorted and walked with poise to a small table, where I picked up my car key. I also grabbed my heels, which were beside the armchair. Meanwhile, he called out to get my attention.
Liam: Chloe? Chloe?
I ignored him, despite wanting to stop and listen. But I couldn’t wait any longer. I walked out of his house and pressed the button on my key fob, unlocking my Lamborghini Aventador parked in the frontage. I got in and hit the road immediately. As I drove, my mind clouded over with thoughts of what had happened between us. Recalling it filled me with shame. What was wrong with me? Why hadn’t I just stayed home in the first place? As much as I hate to admit, especially what happened, his irresistible lips were enough to make anyone lose themselves in lovemaking. I wondered how I’d fallen so hard for his charms.
As I was contemplating, I saw a nearby store and decided to drive there. I pulled over safely and jumped out of my car, walking quickly into the store. For a few minutes, I browsed the store, looking for new underwear to buy. I wanted to change out of the stained one, which was making me uncomfortable. As soon as I found some, I picked the one I wanted and later bought a pack of Calvin Klein underwear. Then, I walked to the cashier, who helped me right away. After paying, I asked for directions to the restroom so I could change.
Minutes later, I was done and emerged from the store, feeling comfortable in my new underwear. Then, I drove off to see Sontee on her street. When I arrived, I spotted the random guy with blue eyes, whom I’d tried to set up with Sontee in what seemed like a love-at-first-sight moment. He was getting into a taxi. I pulled over, wondering what he was doing there, but I shrugged, thinking maybe he lived around there too.
I got out of my car, which drew attention on the street. Ignoring the gazes, I walked up to Sontee’s apartment and gently knocked on her door. But instead of a warm welcome, I was met with a threatening outburst that sent a shiver down my spine. She didn’t even care who was on the other side of the door. I’d known Sontee for a long time, and she’d always had a tough exterior that hinted a trouble and violence, especially back in high school. When she set her mind to something, she’d stop at nothing to achieve it. Regardless, she is cool as long as one treated her nicely. But from the sound of her voice, she was livid.
In no time, I fled her apartment in terror, a cold chill running down my spine as my heart racing. I couldn’t shake off thoughts of what had happened earlier – first with Liam, and now Sontee’s threatening outburst. I couldn’t stop replaying it in my head. I’d never experienced anything like what Liam and Sontee had done to me. It filled me with regret and terror all the way home. Four weeks has passed since then.
