Episode 2
“Marcello’s POV”
” Bye Jack” I said as soon as I and Mitchell alighted from the car.
” yea,.. bye” he replied.
” I will call you when you need to come drive us home” I told him.
” Okay, bye then” he replied and zoomed off.
” Jack is a cool guy yunno” I said turning to face Mitchell only to realize she was gone. She must be so excited to see her friends after the long weeks of holiday. I checked my wristwatch. It was 7:30 am. Time for assembly . The timekeeper rang the bell for assembly immediately. Every students of the Shining Star Academy must be present . I was walking towards the assembly hall when I felt a tap on my back . I turned to look at the person who tapped me and it turned out to be a girl .She would be around my age but I have never met her before. She looked moderately beautiful too .
” u u. urg ..urm .sorry . Good morning” She stuttered while I looked at her intently ” please I just wanna know where the assembly hall is” She asked fidgeting a bit.
” Oh that? That’s where I am headed. We could just walk together if that’s okay by you”
“, Yeah, that sounds good ” She said all smiles .
” You have a beautiful smile yunno ” I complimented before I could even think about it. She just kept on smiling .’How lovely ‘ I thought.
We kept on walking. It was not long before we reached the assembly hall. We were not the first neither were we the last to reach the hall. Students were trooping into the hall.
” So, this is the assembly hall” I told the girl
” Thank you but I am in the 11th grade, where am I supposed to stay?” She asked
” That means you are in my class” I said amazed
” wow!” She exclaimed
” you are in grade 11?”
” yea, just come” I said and she followed me .
” Here, go to the girls” I said to her
” Oh thank you” She said all smiles and went to line up .
‘What a grateful soul’ I thought.
The assembly started. Everything was wonderful. We have some new faces including the girl I met earlier . Oops I didn’t even ask to know her name. Will do that later. We even have few new teachers. Everything went on smoothly . The school appointed proprietress addressed us and urged us to put on our best performance so that our school would remain at the top.
After the proprietress speech, we were dismissed to our various classes. I caught a glimpse of Mitchell very happy with her friends. As usual.

As soon as we all entered the class, miss Lucy came in and stood in front of the classroom .
” Good morning class” She greeted.
” Good morning ma’am” we echoed.
” Good… All the new comers should come forward while the rest of you can have your sits” She said as we all obeyed her instructions. The new comers came forward . The smiling girl was among then. ‘ The smiling girl?’ I thought and smirked. What a nice nickname. We have five new faces . That’s nice ..
” Good. I am your class teacher for this new section and I am here to introduce this new students to this class . So I am miss Lucy and I would like you to introduce yourselves to the class” she said facing the new students.
” my name is Michael Gentry” The first student introduced.
” I go by the name Elon page” The second guy introduced.
” I am Celestine Peace .As you can see my surname is Peace so I want peace, I don’t want trouble” She said strictly and everyone bursted out laughing except miss Lucy who only smiled.
” Then you should be a peacemaker” someone in the class said and everyone laughed again .
” quiet everyone” The class teacher ordered for decorum and the class went silent . ” The next person” miss Lucy gestured her hands towards the next person. .
” I am Henry Richardson.” The last male introduced with a smile ..
” I am Linda Franklin ” The smiling lady I met earlier introduce .
‘ Hmmn, so her name is Linda Franklin. The Franklin I know is actually wealthy.
” Good. So now I would distribute you guys to your respective sits”
” Micheal” she called ” go pair with Elizabeth over there…. Elon , you go sit with that guy…. Celestine, go pair with that girl ” She said while pointing towards the people they would share there sits with. There are two chairs with a table wide enough to be used by two.
“So Henry would go sit with Marcello” she said pointing towards me.
‘ what!’ I exclaimed in my mind. ‘I have sitting here alone for a long time . Why now. I hope he is sensible ‘ I thought.
” So Linda Franklin, go to that empty sit over there. You would be sitting there alone for now” Miss Lucy instructed.
” Okay ma’am ” I heard her say as she went to her sitting space.
” Hello Marcello” The new guy beside me called. I stared at him and he seems cool to me.
” Hi.. we would be sharing spaces from now on. I hope we become good sit mates.
” No problem buddy”
” Buddy?”
“Yes, buddy” he said and smiled. ” anything wrong with that” he questioned.
” no, nothing” I answered and smiled too.
” Good day class ,I would be taking you Latitude and Longitude” Mr John said immediately he entered the class and the class became silent as everyone focused on him…
‘What a good way to start the session’ I thought as I focused too.
